"What a fun and fabulous hotel! The staff was extremely helpful and bilingual, which was wonderful since my Spanish is a bit rusty. The location makes it easy to access all the sites in the historical part of the city. The old buildings and tunnels to access various parts of the hotel were stunning. The room was comfortable and updated with a spa shower. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Sevilla."

"As usual, perfect two nights in a quiet and safe area of Marseille. Hotel is 10mins walk away from the old harbor and 5min walk from a big mall, the Major Cathedral and Mucem museum. The staff were very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay there again! "

"We had an excellent experience at this hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. The property is centrally located and just in front of the port. Our room was fairly spacious, immaculate and with a really nice decor. Also, it offered a beautiful view of the port. Breakfast was just superb with a combination of savoury and sweet options, including French bread, cheeses and local biscuits. We’d definitely come back! Thanks!"

"Hotel was conveniently located by the train station in Marseille, which meant using the shuttle service from Marseille airport to the train station made it the hotel very accessible door-to-door. It is a short walk to both the port and Le Panier, two great areas of Marseille. The hotel staff were extremely accommodating and were always on hand to assist. I would definitely stay at the Alex again if I return to Marseille in the future."

The hotel is quite close to the tram and metro and bus, making it easy to commute into the city. The staff were very helpful and kind. The lounge area is fun and colourful, making a great spot to unwind at the end of the day and when waiting for others. "

"The hotel is well located. Less than 5 minutes walk to the tram and 4 stops gets you close to the buzzing Old Port area. The bedrooms are small and compact but spotlessly clean. The breakfast takes buffet to a new level. They serve the world’s smallest croissants and pain au chocolat. This is France guys!! Maybe look around for other breakfast options."

"A well located hotel and all shops, restaurants are close by. A quiet side street and 5 minutes walk to the metro. The room was spacious, well furnished but quite traditional and dark which I suppose is the style for those beautiful buildings. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful. A pleasure to meet after a long journey and nothing was too much trouble. "
