Nice simple hostel in Nice!

We decided quite surprisenly to stay in Nice, booked room about 30min before arrival. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was ok, but beds good to sleep in. We enjoyed breakfast, there was enough options for us.

Bit unclean and expensive for what it is

The toilet seat was not fixed to the toilet. The sheets and pillows were dirty. But the workers there are friendly and let me keep my suitcase there after I checked out.

The hotel is basic but clean, despite being tight by the old port it was quiet and the air conditioning in the room was very welcome. The breakfast was basic but good. Staff were friendly and helpful. A good budget hotel in the centre of Marseille.

Elevator to room if you can get your luggage up the stairs to reception. No one spoke English, less than helpful. Tiny crowded room, spots of black mold in bathroom, shower elevated from floor with no safety bars. Horrible slipping or falling hazard. Definitely not recommend to older travelers.

Good location of the hotel

The hotel is located near the port and near the tourist attractions. The hotel has a reception and daily cleaning services. The elevator did not work.

The bed was really small and uncomfortable, my wife couldn't sleep well any of the nights. The location is excellent in the Vieux Port. The shower could be better but was fine.

Tiny room, super tiny shower. Bathroom needs multiple repairs. Apparently some breakfast is included, but not all, that was served, so I was charged E10 for a pretty sparse selection of food - unexpectedly. Some staff speak English, others not at all. Not recommended.

The hotel is not accesible, the entrance to get to the lobby is only stairs, no elevator. With big luggage this was not very convenient. The WiFi never worked, we asked a few times and they said that there was a problem with the internet reaching the rooms, it only worked at the lobby. The shower was very very little, one person barely fit in there.

Very central location, very clean.

Hotel is very central and is just one street back from the port. The hotel was everything you would expect from a 2 star rated hotel, and I mean that in a good way. The bedroom and bathroom were well presented. The only real downside to the bathroom is that the shower is a tap mixer and you had to kneel in the bath to keep the water flowing from the waist height shower head, as the water pressure was not strong enough to keep the water flowing while holding it in your hand above your head. We paid for breakfast @ €10 per person per day. It’s a very simple offering (no cereals/meats/cheeses or hot food). Just machine coffee/juice/dried fruit/bread/ small selection of pastries. Next time I might find better value outside hotel. Staff were friendly enough.

This hotel is not accessible at all. Two flights of stairs to get to lobby and elevator. When we refused the accommodations, they refused to refund our money, even though it was clearly not accessible. Horrible experience. Please avoid, besides being inaccessible, they have no morals. They state stairless entry and accessible lobby, neither of which are true.

Do not stay here

Firat of all, on the webside it says that you could pay with card and they speak English. They did not only speak just French but only took cash. We needed to run round town to get cash at an ATM. The hotel has a smell of smoke and the first room we got smelled so much smoke you could not be there, the second room was better but still some smell of smoke. The general feeling was not clean. The bathroom is in desperate need of some renevation. Bathtub was broken and the tiles in the floor was broken. The breakfast I can’t even say a word, you have a bakery around the corner that’s serves one of the best croissant I have had but the ones on the hotel where dry and did not taste well. The only good thing about the hotel was that it had AC. Other than that I could never recommend this hotel to anyone, if I would have know any of this I would not have booked. They are even so cheap that they mixed the soap with water to make it last longer. My recommendation is to get another hotel.

Simple, basique, bien placé, personnel gentil

Petit hôtel 2 étoiles, service minimum mais en accord avec le type d’hôtel. Chambre basique pas très grande mais bon état général et propre. Personnel très gentil. Bon placement. Un petit bémol indiqué au propriétaire le rideau qui ne couvre pas assez la fenêtre donc lumières de la rue la nuit et beaucoup de jour dans la chambre dès le lève du soleil. Pour autant bon séjour dans cet établissement.

Séjour parfait

Super séjour, les hôtes sont vraiment très gentils et aux petits soins. Les enfants étaient ravis. Je reviendrais au même endroit sans hésitation.
