Our room in the annex at the back of the garden was lovely: quiet, clean, spacious (on two levels), well decorated. The staff is helpful, always available. The garden is a big bonus and the hotel is very well positioned in Marseilles and at walking distance from the main train station and the Old Harbour.

Street outside smelled like urine, open dumpsters and trash. Lobby and entrance could be so much better if marble floors were cleaned and shined and door brass polished. Very basic room which was fine, if not for smell of cigarettes, staff very helpful. Bed comfortable and quiet.

Charming, North African style hotel near Marseille Centre. Friendly staff and comfortable room. The side street it was on was a little dodgy but there were great restaurants nearby and it’s a short walk to the Vieux Port and to many nice boutiques and cafes. I didn’t feel unsafe walking around at night because I was with my husband and tall son.

We enjoyed our stay. However for Americans, smaller face towels are a necessity and there needs to be a parking document containing information about nearby parking decks.

I won't miss this place

I blamed myself for reserving this accomadation for my family. It was fine, but i believe for what it cost you can get much much better. The walls are thin and you can hear yelling most of the night from other rooms, the room was coldn and teh heater didn't seem to work. The best heater was the one in the bathroom... but you can't stay in eth bathroom all night.

Not Clean!

I found a lot of dust in the room. The worst part is that there was black mold around the bathroom sink. Yuck, I had paid for two nights, but checked out after one. The place isn’t anything like the pretty photographs. The property is located in a sketchy neighborhood. Overall, it was an unpleasant experience.

Literie, douche, le peu de bruit et la gentillesse du personnel étaient exceptionnels. Cet hôtel est très bien situé dans un quartier fort sympathique. Moins appréciés cependant les aspects suivants: la clé pour verrouiller ou déverrouiller la porte d’entrée fonctionnait très mal et nous obligeait à faire appel au personnel à chaque fois. Chambre très petite et pièce au rdc mal équipée. Le Hall de l’hôtel et les meubles sont très défraîchis. Mais compte tenu du positif, nous sommes quand même satisfaites de notre expérience.

Very kind hosts but the place could use a little care. The room was really bare and absolutely no amenities, not even hand soap. There was mold in the mini fridge…. It’s sad because the place has potential and attention was given to décor and interior design that is simple and elegant enough. However, everything else pretty much fails…

Chambre très spacieuse, joliment décorées à l'image du nom de l'hôtel avec un jardin intérieur pour le petit déjeuner ou autre chose. Un îlot de calme à 2 pas de la Canebiere et un accueil adorable et de bon conseil.
