"Il Pellicano is a dream. The property is stunning and exquisitely maintained. The views are breathtaking. The staff is most gracious. The perfect place for a peaceful and restorative getaway. We tried both dining options for dinner--the informal as well as the Michelin-starred dining room--and both were excellent. The latter was one of the best meals we've ever had anywhere, and we're serious food people who live in New York. We'll be back."

He suggested that places for us to go see. The primary reason I chose this hotel was the private parking, that was below the building. The rental car was safe and secure. "It was easy to get to the hotel for a one-night stay whilst travelling from Pisa airport to the south of Italy. The room was well laid out, clean and had all the facilities we needed for the stay. We were informed about the air-conditioning being managed from the reception area if we wanted it changed. It was convenient to have somewhere to eat across the road as we arrived after 7pm. It was quiet during the night. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. The only minus was discovering a previous guest's blood stain on the duvet one of us had used overnight, which I pointed out to the staff as we checked out."
