"Luisa was an AMAZING host who went out of her way multiple times in multiple ways to not just make sure we were comfortable but set up to really enjoy the most we could out of the area. It was unseasonably cold when we visited (even for late November) and she would keep the fire going in the early mornings & while we were out, run the hot tub to make sure it was ready for us when we got back, and even loaned some of our family members additional winter weather coats who didn't bring enough layers!She regularly got us pastries and breakfast sandwiches, bought dough for us to make home made pizza, and while we were there two of our party had birthdays and she went out of her way to make those two days extra special! I cannot speak highly enough of Luiza and Damiano, amazing hosts, high character people, and just lovely in every way. 6, 7, 8, 10 stars!The house is amazing"

"Wonderful place - plenty of room for 16 adults. Lena was wonderful. Very attentive and responsive. This is exactly what a Vrbo property should be. A way to enjoy local living and culture at a very reasonable price. "

"We stayed at the deluxe apartment and although it was pretty that was about it. The AC was broken and when I called, they told me there were no ACs in the apartment even though we could see the units installed, and we should just open the windows. This was obviously inconvenient being that we were in the town center so it got very noisy at night and the streets often smelled like sewage. Since the hotel is located in the town centre, there very limited parking options so we had to use the underground parking garage which they charged 20 euros a night for. We didn’t opt for the breakfast as it would have been another 20 euros per person per day. Since we stayed at the apartment it was a separate building from the hotel and you would think that paying more for the apartment meant better services but nope. It seems that there was an up-charge for any service that would normally be included with the regular hotel rooms, for example we had to pay for daily housekeeping if we wanted our rooms cleaned daily. Also the parking garage at multiple times wouldn’t open with the access card and they also charged us for parking on our check out day. Overall this was not a good hotel stay, the only positive was that it was situated very close to restaurants, cafes and markets so it was nice to explore the town. If you’re thinking of staying here I would opt for the basic hotel rooms. We had no choice but to get the apartment as it seemed like the only comfortable option for a family of 3 "

"A stunningly beautiful property with amazing views. This was our 2nd visit in the last 8 years and the owner has made a few improvements such as adding A/C but without compromising the Tuscan charm. We love this villa!! A particular highlight was a local chef Daniela coming to prepare a delicious 4 course meal for us - including the best tiramisu we’ve ever had! Thank you so much Marco for a wonderful stay"

"Great stay! This peaceful property draws you back in medieval time, both with the look and smell (we had to use to the smell though). The rooms are big and clean. A huuge TV in the living room, a pity that the room cannot be more spacious:) The kitchen/dining room could also have been bigger, with a bit more light, but that's how old Tuscan houses look like:) We found all necessities in the kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of towels.The pool is super nice, with a relaxing area around.
