A Casa di Paola Suite B&B

"This was the perfect resting place for us during our stay in Ravenna. Close to the train station, the old city sites, restaurants, all of walking distance. The host was welcoming and helpful. The breakfast was a feast for the eyes and the stomach in a beautiful garden set up. The room was grand (4 of us) with cool air conditioning, the beds were comfortable. We were so excited to stay there in this historic property and enjoyed it thoroughly."

"Breakfast not included which was fine with us. Asked at front desk where we could go get an espresso and they said we could just get it in the hotel breakfast room. All other hotels had either a hot pot in room or allowed a cup of coffee from breakfast restaurant. Went in and got it and my friend got hot water for tea. Got stopped by a very rude woman who all but yelled at us. Had to pay more for that cup of coffee than I did anywhere else in Italy!! At least the hot water was free. I had no problem paying for the coffee but was very put off by the attitude. Everything else about the hotel and staff were truly lovely."

"It was a very secure property. Beautiful from the foyer to the courtyard. There were grand sitting areas that were both comfortable and elegant. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. The hostess was so pleasant and waiting to assist us. The gentleman that checked us in was accommodating since we could not get there during our normal check in time. He even gave us tips on how to get to the boat port and food suggestions. We were very pleased. The only thing that was difficult is they hold you to the time you say you will check in. Punctuality with the check in time is very important to this establishment. Would definitely return."

"We stayed overnight for a cruise ship and it served its purpose well. It located very close to everything interesting in the old town with lots of places to eat. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. I like the place, but probably won't stay again because at night there is no staff at all. We had a medical emergency at 2:00 AM and my phone didn't work in Italy. I went downstairs and there was nobody to help. I tried to use their phone to call 911 but couldn't get a signal. It was scary. I ended up using my emergency 911 on my phone get help. Later I called the hotel to tell them what happened and that we're late check out. They were very accommodating and understanding. They helped us expedite our departure as we almost missed our cruise boarding. The place is excellent, but ask them how to get emergency help at night when you check in if you stay here."

"Well situated for touring Ravenna, close yo many restaurants and a EuropSpar. The rooms were comfortable and the air conditioning was welcome. The owners were helpful and friendly and provided transport to the cruise port."
