"The location is awesome! You’re close to coffee shops, restaurants, and a bike trail for miles with adorable decorated tunnels and a park for littles to play. The lodge is beautiful but is on the older side, so a few things needed upgrading, but the place is very clean. The breakfast is a basic continental breakfast, but it’s included! We saw an outdoor screen for outside movies but never saw anything about movies playing, saw a sign for a game room but never saw it, there was a pickleball court but couldn’t find the equipment. So, I’m not sure about some of the amenities. You don’t get daily towels or daily room service, but when you did actually see someone, they were helpful in getting the things you needed. It was super chill and quiet the beginning of the week but then around Thursday/Friday it was like bikers came in from all over and there was no parking near our building, but we made it work. All in all, we loved the location and will probably be back next fall break. It’s probably the nicest place in Townsend! Thank you so much!"

"Very quiet and old school hotel. Townsend is where we stay when we ride down to eastern Tennessee. Close enough to everything but far enough away from the tourist areas. The only complaint I have of my room was there wasn’t a fridge or microwave. But the bed was comfortable and the view was great. The bathroom was small and the shower is tiny. But it was overall a very nice hotel."

"We had a great 4 day weekend with family. Fun for all ages with the hot tub, air hockey, foosball, and arcade games. The kitchen was large enough for us to work together. Two fridges helped to store everything for the whole crew. Comfy beds and pillow, and the sofa, too. Great host and communication. Gorgeous views from every angle. Bear sightings didn't disappoint. We'd love to return for another family gathering. Highly recommend for a large group. Also, a short 30 minute drive to easy hikes at Little River and Jake's Creek"

"Our stay was wonderful from beginning to end. The cabin is lovely, perfectly decorated for the area. The beds are comfortable, the furnishings are upscale, the kitchen is nicely stocked including all the basics a cook will need. Everything works as it should. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. The location feels secluded but it's just a quick drive to all the main tourist spots. I just can't say enough nice things about Mountain Grace. If we're in the area, we'll stay here again in a heartbeat!"

"Can I rate higher than excellent!?!! This beautiful home was home to us for several days. Are activities were spread all over the area-so this cabin was perfectly centrally located. I wish we had shad more time!"

"Cabin was good but not excellent. Just little minor things here and there that just seem to aggravate you like ceiling fan in living room not working. Shower in bedroom didn’t work well just a small stream comes out. You have to climb stairs from bedroom to upstairs bathroom to take a shower. Minor issues you can live with just aggravating. Cleaning crew could pay better attention to stuff. Dishes left in washer dead bugs in drawers of cabinet towels left in dryer. But once again minor issue. But overall cabin was very pleasant. Getting in was a little hassle as you have to share a driveway with another cabin and not a lot of room to turn around once you get there. Whoever was cleaning the other cabin had parked their car in the driveway and you couldn’t get by. Took thirty minutes to get them to move. Extremely aggravating! Never did find that lake and pool that the ad shows in the pics. I don’t believe it exists. Everything was stocked well including the kitchen and hot tub was clean. Bed was also nice. Bears are all over and more than likely you’ll see some. We were on the deck and they come off the hill behind the cabin and walked on down the hill the cabin overlooks. We were probably 20 yards from them and this was in the evening around four thirty So pay attention. Overall had a good stay and might rent it again in the future. Wears Valley is a little more peaceful than Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg and I think that’s what we enjoyed the most."
