We came here for our honeymoon, and the staff were super nice. Our room was excellent, clean, well decorated. The rooftop was pretty cool, excellent view. And well staffed. Parking was a breeze, a little tight, but plenty of room for our truck. We enjoyed the stay, and look forward to coming back.

I love this hotel. I stay there monthly when I come to see my mom. Clean, comfortable and has a great location to good food. The only drawback is parking. It is slightly cheaper to self-park then valet or you can walk the 200 yards from a free parking garage.

The interior of the rooms looked under construction with raw concrete and even pencil measurments on the walls. When asking staff they said it was an industrial look..it was horrible and made us feel like we were sleeping in a construction zone. Beds were hard and bedding very low quality. The best thing about the hotel is the rooftop bar as they made a good quality drink. Sad this hotel has such potential as does the cute little downtown area but both really could use updating and a more cohesive vibe.

We had a wonderful weekend getaway at Hotel Melby Downtown Melbourne, Tapestry Collection by Hilton. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful surroundings, and a great location for enjoying downtown Melbourne. What really stood out was the exceptional customer service, especially from Monica. She went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and cared for. Her friendly attitude, attention to detail, and genuine willingness to help made our stay even more special. People like Monica are what make a hotel experience truly memorable. Our weekend was a wonderful experience, and we would definitely stay at Hotel Melby again. A special thank-you to Monica for helping make our getaway so enjoyable. She is a true asset to the hotel!

While the rooftop views were great, there was not any complementary coffee or breakfast. Ice is only available on the first floor. You have to pay for parking if you want to keep your vehicle on hotel property. The AC, while adequate, cycled on and off- And when it came on, the loudness of the AC woke me up. I stayed over the weekend and even being in the 7 th floor, I got woken up by the club music from the next street over. The beach is five mins away and there are plenty of restaurants close by. Overall, it was clean and modern but I like a few perks when I’m staying for a few days.
