"We loved staying in this 13th century inn. We were given a room in the original section of the inn - amazing wattle and daub walls, original timber work and wonky floors! The River Avon flows past the front of the Rose and Crown property. A beautiful settling and a privilege to be able to stay here! If you love history, this is the place to stay in Salisbury."

On the negative side, it's an old building and is showing it's age. The floor in our room had a noticeable slope (disconcerting when you get out of bed at night). There was no hot water one evening for a few hours. Seems no-one had spotted the boiler was off."
