The staff was terrific. Simona was very helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was very good and the staff fantastic. The room spacious and nicely laid out and clean. I recommend the lake view room. The location is idea to visit other notable town. When we come back to Como we are staying here again, for sure.

Had the perfect stay at Hotel Garni Corona and would definitely recommend to anyone looking to come to Lake Como. In my opinion, it is in the best location with only a short walk to the ferry and bus stops. Not as busy as Bellagio or Varenna and proved to be the ideal base location. Plenty of restaurants, cafe’s and gelato spots right next to the hotel. Would highly recommend the room with the lake view! Special mention to the lady at the reception who was so helpful and welcoming which was very much appreciated :)

Excellent property right on Lake Como. It is a short walk to the ferry (about 300 meters) and there are a few good restaurants nearby. There is no on-site parking, but if you go past the hotel by about 600 meters you will find a free parking area. However, it may be hard to find a spot during peak times. There are paid for spots nearby that you may have to use until you can move your car to a free spot. This hotel is also in a busy area. Expect to hear some noise in your room from the folks eating and talking outside. Overall, a great spot to spend a couple of days and explore the towns around the lake.

Relaxing stay in Menaggio
We loved this hotel in Menaggio! It was one of the lower priced hotels of our trip so far but it did not feel like it at all. The room & bathroom were very very spacious and the location was great. I wish we could’ve got a lake view room - but I booked over 6 months in advance and they were already sold out and I definitely see why. I am normally a Marriott property person and am very picky with hotels and we kept saying how much we loved this hotel. We also didn’t know if Menaggio was the best town to stay in and it turns out it was. The others were way too crowded and it was nice coming back here for a relaxing couple of days of our trip before we went off to the next city. Staff were all super nice as well. If we ever come back to lake como - we will stay here again.

This was the perfect location for our first stay in Como. It gets lively at night in area on the weekend (I was fine with earplugs ) but is quiet during day , and perfect walk to ferry port and sights of the water. Good dining options near by and we ate at the cafe right downstairs from the hotel everyday as we wanted to be out & about so we did not opt for their breakfast at hotel. I would definitely stay again if returning to Menaggio. Grazie!

Really comfortable rooms - spacious and well kitted out. Highly recommend paying for a balcony and lake view. Really friendly, helpful staff. Great location - above the piazza which is a great place to enjoy an apperitivo in the evening. Very convenient for the ferry too.

The checkout was very early at 10 am and when I asked for a late checkout, she only agreed to extend it for another 30 minutes after that the electricity was turned off from their end and a housekeeper opened the door while I was changing my clothes. It's absurd to have a checkout time that early. The towels were not changed because we didn't see the sign that says that we have to leave them on the floor. The views that show on the images on Expedia are probably just that one room that they have with a nice and the rest is just okay. The balconies are so close to each other that if you go out at the same as the other person it will feel like you're sharing a balcony. The only thing that I liked about this hotel is the cafes around it for breakfast and that's not enough to recommend it to anybody. 10 am checkouts are not fun and shutting off the electricity is a brutal way to kick out guests.

The check-out is untill 11.00am.We went back to our daily of July 30th and you had an extended check-out till 12.00 without any extra fee. At 12pm the electricity goes away automatically. You actually kept the room till 12.20pm so it might be that you had no electricity for the last 20 minutes of stay.Also, you canceled the 1st night on July 26th (so one day before the arrival previewed) and we did not charge it even if we had the right to apply 100% fee of the night canceled.

Not the last time we visit Hotel Garni Corona
Second time staying at this hotel. From the efficient, polite, friendly reception through to the clean comfortable room everything was of the highest standard. Breakfast was in a roomy, light environment with the waiting staff providing everything we needed, and impressively remembering our basic orders for each day. Breakfast selection was extensive and fresh. Experience meant we booked a lake view balcony which was the making of the visit. People watching whilst sipping a chilled glass of local white is a great way to relax.

A charming hotel in an amazing location. Surrounded by restaurant and gelato options, right on the water and the promenade, a short walk from the ferry. Everything you’d want or need during your stay in Menaggio. We had a 4th floor room with a small balcony and partial lake views. Comfortable bed. Elevator to 4th floor. Room was cleaned daily. Held our luggage after check out. Highly recommend!

We cannot say enough good things about Hotel Garni Corona and the surrounding area. This was the first stop on our honeymoon and it still stands out as the best one. From the moment we arrived our experience was welcoming, smooth, and beyond all expectations we had set. The rooms are well kept and up to date with immaculate views. The staff is as accommodating as possible. And, the location is the most central and convenient in all of Menaggio. We had a wonderful time and absolutely plan to return in the future.

We had a great time at the hotel. It’s comfortable, although the bed was more on the firm category. It’s clean, beautifully renovated and maintained. It’s spacious. Staff is great, they were very helpful even before check in giving us information about transportation to the lake and so on…Breakfast buffet is great but I wish there was an option for Turkey breast/ chicken breast deli instead for people who does not eat ham or procciuto ( pork). In addition, it would be nice to have a refilling purified drinking water station at the guest disposal 24/7. I stayed at Milan in a hotel and this was provided to us so I assumed this feature would be available to us as well. Unfortunately it was not. The hair dryer provided could be replaced for a more potent model. Other than that we were very satisfied and happy with our choice at this hotel and plan to come back one day!:) Grazie!

Regarding breakfast, on our variety of mixed sliced there are 5 different kinds of Italian ham, and 2 different kinds of cheese, unfortunately no turkey, we are sorry you didn't find our offer enough for you taste but we take in consideration to add the turkey. We have the drinking water station at the reception and we are sure you use it during all your stay to fill your bottle of water; there are glasses at your disposal, to give the possibility to all the guests to find some fresh water anytime. Our complimentary water station is at guests disposal from the morning until 10.30 PM. On request asking at the reception it is possible to have an extra hairdryer if the complimentary one does not fits your expectations :-) We are happy you enjoyed your stay here, your satisfaction is important for us!
