"Beautiful resort. Complaints: getting around the resort is not easy - golf carts will pick you up and take you where you need to go and sometimes they are not very timely. Booked an all inclusive and almost every place had extra charges. The beach is not swimmable. I’m not trying to knit pick but small things that threw me off were - toilet wasn’t straight, outlets were few and far between, screen doors were not in the guides. Now. It was a wonderful time for my wife and I. The views were stunning (especially at sunset). The staff were wonderful and everyone was super helpful. The night life was decent but it seemed like there was only one place at the resort to go to. If someone were to ask me where to go in Cabo, I would tell the Riu Palace. I wouldn’t tell someone to not go to Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach, but I would encourage you to weigh your options."

Hotel Riu Palace Baja California - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"My room had a foul sewer odor, I called to get it resolved but was not resolved. Additionally given the property is shared with the sister property we noticed the buffet was constantly full. I did not appreciate non guests coming there when their property serves all inclusive drinks and meals as well. They need a better system to prevent overcrowding or limit the use of shared amenities. Overall great staff, 2nd time at this hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed the first experience better!"

"So grateful that we chose the hotel close to where our son was having his dental procedure. They validated parking for our stay and were close to shopping and food. The wifi was great, since we planned this trip the day before his emergency procedure, it was convenient and we were able to rest and recover in a nice, cool room. I wish we had a fridge and a microwave, but it's ok. The room had an entire side that wasn't used. It could've fit a table, or a couch or desk. It was just empty. Still grateful for this hotel being so close to the border and close to where we needed to be. Would stay here again."
