"Originally we reserved a studio accommodation. Realizing that two flight of stairs were beyond our abilities, we decided to head back home. Dan reached out to us and offered us the first floor accommodations at no additional cost. We gladly accepted his offer and returned the following day. It was a wonderful weekend with a peaceful location with one of the greatest hot tubs. We passed the location to friends of ours. We too, will return to Montreat too."

"We (me, husband and 10 yr old) stayed for 3 days for my husband's birthday. This little rental was perfect! It was clean and welcoming. There were extra amenities like snacks, toiletries and other items we've normally always brought ourselves to rentals. You were within walking distance of 2 restaurant, a coffee shop/book store and a few other kitche shops. It was a great location to stay!"

"The property was nice, easy to find and easily accessible, just as advertised. Comfortable, peaceful, clean, adequately stocked. Host was very responsive yet I never saw her at all. I appreciated the privacy, but it was a little strange hearing voices from the connected home and realizing they likely heard mine as well. Would stay again."

"The house was beautiful! We loved the fact that it is pet friendly. Our dogs are terrified of fireworks, so we wanted a place that would be quiet and no fireworks for New Years Eve. We got just that! The location is good. It was only about an hour from Asheville so we went to the Biltmore. There is a wood burning fireplace and as cold as it was, we definitely took advantage of that. The view from the porch was amazing at anytime of the day or night. I would definitely stay again."

"We cannot say enough about this incredible property! Spotless, beautifully decorated, comfortable, and well-stocked with everything one would need for a cozy vacation in the mountains. The owners have put such thought and care into this hidden treasure and it showed: from the fully stocked coffee station, to the fun array of puzzles and board games for both adults and kids, from the fuzzy blankets by the couch, to the complimentary marshmallow skewers and hiking sticks for outdoor adventures....

"Stunning, remote, eloquent, perfect destination anytime of year but late October is when this private nest in the mountains really shows its true colors. I want to keep this place a secret just for the two of us but its so perfect, it has to be shared. "This was the perfect place for our family getaway. Perched on the top of a mountain with an amazing view. The place was clean and comfortable and felt like a home away from home. The whole experience was smooth and top notch. Everyone was so happy and impressed with this spot. It was so close to Asheville, we were able to go into the city for some of the time and explore.
