Our flights from Melbourne to Auckland were cancelled due to the cyclone and we had to abandon our visit to the north island and fly straight to Christchurch. I had booked four stays in the north island, two of which were outside the cancellation period- which I accepted. Stayed in this hotel just for one night. Fantastic experience. Well located with very sophisticated "boutique" decor and very friendly staff.

Very good motel next to the hot water park. Enough parking space. You probably need a car to go around.

Quirky, colonial, "Gone with the Wind" vibe, of old lady hotel, with fantatcic staff.. good parking, facilites, loved the verandah, great stay... nice experience...
