A birdwatchers delight, this well-furnished property with a lovely garden and patio is ideal for visiting Cheshire and North Wales.. Ground Floor:

Bedroom: Double (4ft 6in) Bed Ensuite: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Lawned garden with patio, garden furniture and barbecue. Bike store. Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: There are 8 steps from the parking area to the property.. Situated within the Clwydian mountain range, this holiday property with exposed stonework and beams enjoys a peaceful setting adjoining the owner’s home. The spacious living area provides comfortable accommodation in which to relax, and there is a private patio for al fresco dining. This is a great place for birdwatching (binoculars are provided!) and walking with Clwydian Way and Offa’s Dyke footpaths within easy reach. Nercwys Forest is great for walking, mountain biking and wildlife including nightjars and other birds. Located midway between Mold, with its regular market and Clwyd Theatr Cymru, and the delightful town of Ruthin. Ideally situated for trips to Chester, Llandudno and the Snowdonia National Park. Shop 21/2 miles, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

A wonderful cottage. Spacious, comfortable and very very quiet. Lovely views out over the fields. The hosts Jo and Pete couldn't be nicer. Great walks and cycles to be had from the door. The local pub (about a mile away - with a steep hill on the way!) is friendly and serves good food. Would definitely recommend the cottage.

What a place, I can only describe it as the best little hidden gem in wales, the location is stunning and our host was the nicest man you could ever meet, nothing too much. My partner and I are hoping to rebook and go back when the weather’s better next spring or summer to experience some of the beautiful countryside around the cottage and further afield.

Cosy small cottage in a lovely location in the Clwydian hills. Great sunsets and nice to watch the wildlife right outside the door. Walks were surprisingly good right from the cottage door. Only negative point was WiFi which was intermittent at best.

In a quiet location overlooking the hills, but not too isolated, with lovely views from every window. Lots of maps and local information provided. Just the place for a relaxing holiday, loved watching the birds feeding in the garden. The owners Jo and Pete were very welcoming helpful and friendly and provided a nice welcome pack, Joe bakes a delicious cake. This cottage was one of the best self catering properties that we have stayed in. The owners were particularly friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the views, the tranquility and the bird life there. The cottage is well equipped with plenty of room to prepare meals. Overall an extremely comfortable cottage, hopefully one day we will return.
