"Everything great"

"Our family of 3 generations (4 one night) had an absolutely fantastic time in this beautiful, newly constructed home! The open floor plan was great for traffic flow at mealtimes and when we were all together. The additional gathering areas on the deck, basement, firepit, and dock were wonderful for smaller gatherings. We really enjoyed using the big kitchen to prepare meals for our large group. We have been coming to SML since 2008, and rent a different house each year, but we heard multiple suggestions to come to Sunset Escape next year. If there was anything to change, we do not know what that would be. You will not regret booking this one!"

"Fun time and the house and location worked out great for us"

"This cottage was perfect for my husband and I. We loved relaxing on the deck and the dock, enjoyed seeing all of the wildlife (with daily visits from deer and herons) and chilling on the couch watching TV once it was too chilly to sit outside any longer. We did not use the game room but it looked like it would be perfect for a family with kids. We rented a pontoon boat one day and had no problems pulling up to the dock. I would not recommend bringing a trailer, but if you do, be sure to coordinate with Taylor ahead of time so you know where to park. The driveway is rather steep and gravel, not paved, so something to be aware of if you plan on traveling with motorcycles. Overall we had a lovely time! Taylor was very accommodating and easy to communicate with! "

"Our family throughly enjoyed our week at this beautiful property. Between the pool, hot tub, and lake our children and grandchildren had a great time. It’s a great location, close to marinas, restaurants and the town of Moneta. The home is well appointed and had everything we needed.On the downside the location is not safe for running or riding bikes because the road shoulder is so narrow. This can be alleviated by driving to the state park. The property advertises 17-20 people but there are 17 beds so small children will need to double up in three of the beds.Our point of contact, Mike, was very attentive to our needs and rapidly responded to all of our questions.We will definitely rent this property in the future."
