"The resort is amazingly restored and preserved and has a wonderful family feel while remains very private and has an exclusive appeal. If it is at all possible I would highly recommend the family style dinner served on Monday night which is available to all the guests. It fascinating to interact with the people who are here for the first time or revisiting for the 30th time."

"We had an issue with the staff member - who denied to contact the pizza guy/delivery guy who had been waiting for us in the reception but we were never informed that he was there - so when we went to the reception to find out why the pizza was taking so long, I saw one car leaving when I arrived and only then she informed the guy waited for a while and had just left, so when I asked for her to call him asking for him to return since he was maybe 2 min away, she denied and was very very rude with us. I could not believe - the manager contact us but was way too late then - we had to order for another place and go pick up in the middle of the night as there was nothing to eat at the property. After that our stay was no longer pleasant."

"Very clean room. Breakfast was good. but Very repetitive. not much variety. just cake, and juice . The room was very hot. We asked about this, but no response and they didn't seem to care that it was very hot at night. I get during the day, if it's a little warm, but even at night when outside it's about 65 out, but inside it was still 76F. Even at night it would only get to about 76F. So if you're going during a hot time, be wary of that. Also. The views a great here. But the grounds could use some maintenance. Like around the pool, there's tons of weeds that they could use a trimmer to get rid of, but there all grown out."

"We loved our stay at this beautiful place. The staff at this family ran hotel were all lovely, friendly and helpful. We booked 5 x nights bed & breakfast but we had a couple of lunches here too. Food was very good. Lots of choice at breakfast, yummy cakes, croissants, fruit, meats etc. The grounds were beautiful and the pool was lovely and clean and much appreciated in the hot month of August. Just a 10 minute walk away or 2 minute drive is Castellina in Chianti, a beautiful & enchanting little town with a few shops, restaurants and bars which we visited a few evenings. We booked a lunch & wine tasting at Poggio Amorelli a nearby vineyard which was wonderful and the hotel kindly arranged transport to and from the vineyard. The hotel was ideally placed to visit many beautiful places like Siena, Perugia & San Gimignano. We had a fantastic time here. Would whole heartedly recommend."
