Fun day visiting "Mayberry" -- Andy Griffith museum is nice. Did not get to tour the Mt. Airy museum -- ran out of time on a Sunday. Go on another day when more of the businesses are open. Did attend the monthly car show and that was really nice.

Wish we had more time to explore more of the area. But we did get to eat at 13 Bones steak and seafood restaurant, its a must do if you come for a visit or even just passing through. They take reservations, online or call in. Make a reservation.

"Room has been completely renovated. The room was very clean. Fit my needs for a place to sleep overnight on a vacation trip to the Atlantic coast.
