"The Essex was exceptionally clean! The rooms were all beautifully done and the bed was comfortable! We ate at the Blue Marlin for dinner , the food was excellent and the service too!"

"The rooms are fresh and spotlessly clean. Great views of the Annisquam River. Nice location outside of town. The staff was fantastic. We love the marina vibe. We stayed in January when the restaurant is only open a couple of days a week - we'll hit that up next time. We dined nearby at The Causeway - great local spot, small and BYOB."

"The room was clean, but the outside of the building our room was in, behind the inn, was run down and the back of the inn was in disrepair. Not a very pleasant experience. "

The owners were amazing from the time we made our reservation to the day we checked out providing clear communication and a thoughtful guide on things to do and see in the area including helpful restaurant recommendations. "Lovely house and location! Clean, spacious, comfortable, with a fabulous kitchen and great hang out areas.. We were 10 from 3 families in town for Thanksgiving and Tidebend was perfect for hanging out, sleeping, cooking. I really appreciate that each sleeping space was comfortable and as described - no janky windowless basement ‘bedroom’s! Atlantic Vacation Homes was informative, pleasant and prompt as the property manager. Would absolutely rent again."
