"The tent was lovely and as expected. The property was not well managed. Continental breakfast was a bagel in a box and the bar and restaurant were closed to guests due to outside events. This would be fine if you weren’t on an island with very little other option! It was strange that they couldn’t save atleast a little space for their paying guests for a drink, dinner or breakfast or atleast notify us in advance so we could have brought our own food."

"All staff were friendly and attentive. Our room was clean and had nice amenities when we got there! The only small problem I had was with the showers. I couldn’t get hot water for my showers at night and told staff immediately. They had someone check in the daytime, which turned out to be fine, but later that night the same problems occurred. This would’ve been a bigger problem had this issue been during the colder months. Other than that this hotel is in a great location and was a nice stay."

"I liked the location very much. Architecture of the building was cool and interesting. Enjoyed the breakfast, good job, loved it. I think the stuff could have explained the terms of breakfast during check in a little better.... The pool was closed (locked) when I looked at it... with no one inside... Small remodeling was going on in the hotel during stay. Parking was free, very nice. The room had very nice window view of NYCity, very clean and spacious. I liked a little present (string back pack with the logo, nice touch). Toilet toiletry was nice too."

"Staff was very friendly, hotel was beautiful. I did have to get my rooms switched due to not having AC, was quickly accommodated on the room switch. Although, we couldn’t get a new room until later that night. Once we got our new room, sadly there were still issues with the room. Lights not working, shower never fully heated up. Small things! The worst thing I truly believe is the elevators! My goodness, they were so so slow, took 5-10 minutes just to catch the elevator to go down to the lobby. Truly is a good spot for a hotel, close to good restaurants and touristy spots."
