This is a very nice hotel and in a wonderful location. Marienplatz is the place to be, and lots to see! It would have been nice to have had air conditioning, as it was very hot when we stayed there.

The location of the hotel which is on the edge of the Vikualienmarkt is ideal for being able to see all the major sites within the Old Town area of Munich by foot. Even the furthest of them was only around 30mins walk. There are also numerous good places to eat and drink nearby. The hotel staff were very helpful throughout our stay. The only issue we had was our electronic room key kept not working over the first two days but this was eventually sorted out and for the rest of the time was fine. Can be a bit noisy late at night as there are a few bars close by. Also be warned that the church bells start at 7am. We would still use this hotel again should we go back to Munich.

We have stayed here several times because of the convenient location in Old Town. The price is good. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable. I hate to be boring, but we keep coming back to this spot when traveling in and out of Munich.

A nice boutique hotel in the center of Munich. Easily walkable to most all of the main attractions and shopping. The adjacent market was really cool! Breakfast at the onsite restaurant was good as well.

Affordable room in a great location.

Exactly what I was looking for - affordable, safe, clean room in a great location. The twin room was small, but had everything I needed. It had a view of the little square. The bathroom was good size and came with soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion. Location was amazing right bext to the Viktualienmarkt and 5 mins from Marienplatz.

We love the location of this hotel, it was perfect, walkable to all the places we wanted to see and easy to get to the train station or get a taxi or Uber. The staff was not as helpful as we would hope, they did not speak English or even tried to make any conversation. The bathroom shower floor was VERY slippery and we did tell them, but they didn't have anything to say on that. The bed was comfortable, overall, we enjoyed the area very much and the hotel's location was great!

Our room was fine for one night, we could hear the dumping of glass? Bottles before bed. The room was clean but very small, reminded us of a dorm room. It would have been hard to stay for more than 1 night, not enough room to “live in” no place to store clothes. No view. But very clean and functional for a night.

The property is in a great location but it is run down. We arrived and had no toilet paper in our room and the trash can had dirty face wipes in it. The walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in the next room. The staff were nice but we didn’t have much interaction with them. As I said, the property is in a great location but I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a four star or plus hotel.

The location is amazing for exploring Munich. Close to sits, restaurants and public transportation. A few of the prior ratings mentioned hotel staff didn’t speak English. We did not find that to be the case.

Charming hotel on cobblestone walkway within walking distance of many attractions, dining and public transport. I would definitely recommend. One thing of note: there is no air conditioning but there is a fan in the room - with windows open at night, that helped cool off the room.

Jewelry was stolen from room

The hotel was nice and in a good location for Christmas Markets. Unfortunately, 2 pouches of jewelry containing rings, bracelets and earrings were taken from the room on the last day of our trip. We reported to the girl at the front desk and she seemed indifferent and did not ask any questions or report it to anyone.

Tiny room

This hotel is in a great area. The hotel staff were pleasant. However the room was tiny. It was only about 12’ wide by 14’ long. The bathroom was tiny too. There were no amenities at the property. No lobby to sit in, no bar. There was a small restaurant attached but you need a reservation. For what they have to offer, it’s extremely overpriced. We could hear others’ conversations clearly thru the wall.

The hotel was quaint, clean and in a great location. The front desk staff was rude and not helpful. He waved his hands at me in impatience when I had trouble opening the door. My leg was in a walking boot and he didn’t even get up to help me get in. Then later that day the elevator broke and my room was on the third floor. He never apologized for the inconvenience. Because of his attitude I would not recommend this hotel.
