No frills hotel. Very good staff and very clean hotel. If you are going to Munich for Oktoberfest, this is the best place to stay. Less than five minutes walk to the site. Other than that not much reason to stay in that area.

So the staff told us this building used to be artist residences/school. Rooms are very high ceilings and roomy. We had a car and there was a spot to part for 15 euro/night, which was worth it. The walk to Marienplatz was about 20mins, so rather convenient if you walk directly east.

Hotel perfetto per Octoberfest

Hotel pulito, stanze ampie e letti comodi. Parcheggio interno al costo di 14 euro al giorno. Letto e parquet un pò rumorosi. Molto vicino a dove si svolge l'October festa, mentre il centro (Marienplatz) è raggiungibile solo con la metro (fermata a 400m).Hotel da preferire se si arriva a Monaco in auto. La zona non è particolarmente servita da ristoranti e bar, piuttosto residenziale.

Breakfast was awesome and staff was friendly and overall hotel condition was good. Downside was that ac was broken and it was +33 during the day. There was Aircon u it in room but it didn't help much. Overall a good experience.

A complete and total gem! We booked a family room for one night but ended up staying two due to an emergency and rerouted trains. They welcomed us back as old friends and gave us a discounted rate for the second night booked on the fly. Quiet street with beautiful historic buildings, short 5-minute walk to Theresienwiese subway station, 15-minute walk to main train station Munich HB. Superior decor, comfortable bedding, AC that works and is quiet! Terrific breakfast and lovely, friendly staff. Five stars all the way around from us.

Lovely friendly hotel

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Uhland. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the location is nice and quiet but within walking distance of the city centre. Wonderful restaurant nearby called Marie Therese which serves authentic Bavarian food.

Väldigt glad att jag hittade detta hotell. Väldigt snyggt nyrenoverat. Mer känsla av B&B med super fin frukost. Precis det jag kunde önska mig, inte stor frukost buffé men en frukost mer klass och finess. Vänlig service minded personal. Skulle återvända för just hotellets skull. Kanske låg det inte i Münchens bästa område men jag kan inte helt uttala mig för jag såg inte mycket av München. Var där ca 24h och mest för att min barn skulle få besöka Allians arena.

The property was on a nice leafy street close to the Oktoberfest grounds. A main train station was about a 10 minute easy walk. There didn’t seem to be much to do or places to eat within an easy walk. We missed having a cute pub or restaurant to go to after a day out. The staff was very nice and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Staff at breakfast were very kind and went above and beyond. We loved the made to order lattes and the muesli and yogurt. The one negative is that the breakfast room was extremely hot. The elevator was small, but I’m grateful there was an elevator. Beds were comfy, the shower was excellent with good pressure and temperature. I would easily stay here again.
