"Perfectly placed hotel for a stay in Edinburgh. Literally right outside the train station and just off the Royal Mile. Greeted with a glass of prosecco on arrival. Very friendly staff, very clean, good food. Definitely recommend. "

"Room pretty modern, usb plugs , great smart TV, clean with all amenities required for charging mobile phones, iron, ironing board, tea / coffee etc . Breakfast was very good with selection of full fry up or continental. Optionof swimming and sauna available, small area, but good plus bonus."

"Disappointed nice and clean staff at reception were excellent. However £45 per person to use the spa forn3 hours is a bit steep unless you’re a millionaire. Also for a 5 star hotel our room had several things wrong with it . Not to mention you d expect the room to be cleaned by housekeeping for the price . We had room service the night before and when we returned the following evening tray was still in room bed was not made and it was obvious housekeeping had not been in the room . Even the premier inn cleans the rooms daily. Very disappointed . "
