"Staff friendly, hotel is a great location, it could do with a bit of maintenance- tap in the sink is broken and once turned on, needs some work to put off again. "

"Arrived at the hotel and took advantage of the valet parking which was quick and easy - my bags were even taken straight to my room. The in room amenities and extras were excellent. The pool was quiet and I even had it to myself the morning of my stay. I dined in Baba which was delicious. The only small negative I encountered was that my room was above the restaurant so it was a little noisy. The location is excellent for exploring both the Old Town and New Town of Edinburgh."

"Alexander is provide extraordinary service. He is warm and helpful making the Roseate a must stay luxury hotel. Every employee was incredibly friendly and provided great service. The hotel itself is beautiful and cozy. We would absolutely stay at the Roseate again. Thank you Alexander for taking such good care of us during our stay. "

"Room was nice and big! Bathroom was nice but water leaks a lot from the shower and the shower had an AWFUL smell! Firstly, the shower didn’t drain so we got someone to come and clean the drain. However, after that the smell was disgusting coming from the drain and it didn’t go away. Assuming it’s an old building with old drains but taking a shower wasn’t the nicest. Other than that, breakfast was great and the room itself was lovely. "
