The hotel is well located both within the Basque countryside but also within walking distance of the town (20 minutes), which affords many bars and restaurants (indeed a disproportionate number for so a small a town - I counted about 20!) Not a lot of options for dining close by, so be prepared to bring things for dining, or travel a little to get to a restaurant during the week (there are restaurants close by in Ea on the weekends, 5 minutes away from the property). Juan Carlos and his family are incredibly kind and helpful, and really went out of their way to ensure we were taken care of. "Really enjoyed our stay. Very clean and modern everywhere in the hotel and rooms. Breakfast was great quality and value for money. Staff extremely friendly. Location is a little further out of the old town that we would have liked but there is a metro station very near and the walk is only 30 mins. To use the spa is extra, but all the info was very clear when we booked. I would recommend and stay again."
