"Overall this place is great. Where else can you stay inside of a museum?? Room 5 was huge as was the bathroom. Beds were extremely cozy. A/C was comfortable. Mini bar was reasonable. The place was clean but has an old look to it. It’s an older building and they preserve its integrity. The location is central and easy to get to from the port or the train station. Lots to see on the area, bars and restaurants galore. Some things I could see other travelers not liking, but that were ok by me were....

"From when we first arrived Alfredo couldn't do enough for us. We were able to check in early and leave our bags the whole day on check out. It felt more like an air BnB as we hardly saw any other guests and enjoyed sitting out on the terrace late afternoon most days. Breakfast was good and plenty of choice. Good rooms and beds. Can be a little noisy at night but that's just Naples and the price you pay for a great convenient location! Brilliant stay!"

"It’s so hard to rate this property. The staff were fantastic, in particular Marcello on reception. The hotel is very dated and needs a makeover. A shower over the bath just doesn’t cut it these days. The area around the hotel is very dirty and seems unsafe, but I wasn’t harassed at all. There are lots of police and soldiers in and around the station. Overall, I’d go back again but some people may need to be wary of the location."

So location had to be close as she doesn’t walk much. We had a good room on 3rd floor near elevator.
