"A lovely room in a very cosy, friendly pub. There was some road noise due to the location, but this dies down after dark. The facilities and food were excellent."

"We arrived quite late but the check in was speedy. Fairly basic room but it was clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was fairly basic but the shower pressure was good. Overall ok for an overnight stay. We didn't realise there would be a car parking fee, so that was a surprise"

"We had a great stay. Good sized twin bedded room with nice little outside sitting area overlooking the river. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fresh and plentiful. Parking was £5 per night which was fine as the hotel is well located an easy 10 minute walk from the cathedral and town centre."

"It was difficult to access the room, I would have preferred a manned reception area as everything needed code to open. First the front door then the e key safe, and all instructions by phone. Maybe I’m just old fashioned but it’s nicer to talk face to face. But the apartment was great."
