"Great location in Spiez. It’s about a 7 min walk from the train station. This is a small hotel with basic rooms. I would recommend staying in a lake view room. The “comfort” room I stayed in faced the street which can be loud. Fortunately, the windows really help block the outside noise. This hotel does not have AC so I wouldn’t recommend staying here during the warm weather months. The terrace has a great view of the lake and it was nice to have breakfast there. FYI, there’s a shared small fridge in the hallway."

"This place was amazing! We would have stayed longer had we know what a gem this place was! Serge' the owner was a kind helpful host, he worked very hard and was hospitable and quiet. The breakfast was wonderful, the scenery amazing, and it was so quiet and off the beaten path. Bus stop was within steps of the hotel driveway. About 15 minutes to Spiez train station and about 30 minutes by bus to Interlakaen Oust Train station."

"We had a wonderful stay at this charming house in Wimmis. The place itself is full of character and felt like a true home away from home. What really made the experience special were the hosts—they were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. The management team was also excellent, handling everything smoothly from start to finish. Overall, it was a great stay and we’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and memorable getaway in Switzerland."

"Our family of 4 stayed for 2 nights in June 2026. The apartment was easy to find, the parking was very close by and the hosts did an excellent job of explaining the parking options and check in process. The small kitchen was very efficient and while we only prepared simple meals, the full size fridge and stove top, plus provided plates/cups/glassware would make cooking family meals a breeze. The bedroom was quite large, the beds were comfortable and the Aircon was excellent. This apartment was a welcome respite after busy days of hiking and exploring the area. I would absolutely stay here again!"
