"Very nice stay... place was clean and spacious.. property manager was very responsive. Only complaint was the cost was very high for mid-October... but we were desperate as our other reservation was double-booked so we were without a place. Would stay again... hopefully for less cost."

"How can I begin to tell you how wonderful Maxine’s penthouse is? It is spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished and decorated. It really feels like staying in a friend’s home—she has absolutely thought of everything! There is ample closet space, comfortable beds, and well-placed hooks to meet all your needs. The kitchen is amazing, fully equipped with everything you need for cooking and serving. I was so appreciative of all the thoughtful details!The views from the penthouse are endless—you can see from one end of the island to the other.Maxine was also tremendously helpful in finding restaurants for our group. We had a very large group with all of our children and grandchildren staying in another building, so figuring out how to feed everyone—especially with various dietary needs—was a real challenge. Maxine helped me find great spots and steered me away from places that wouldn't fit. I can’t thank her enough!Our time in her penthouse was a 10 out of 10! We can’t wait to go back!"

"Beautiful condo with incredible beachfront views! The hosts were great to work with and made our “mini moon” in Kiawah really special. Highly recommend renting bikes to take advantage of all the great ways to explore the island. We would love to stay here again and will highly recommend this to anyone who is visiting Kiawah, especially couples or newlyweds!"

"We really enjoyed our stay here for 10 days. Pros: great location, excellent view, well laid out villa, nicely decorated. Cons: furniture (dining chairs, couch, master bedspread) had several stains. The chairs and couches were almost covered entirely in spots. Yuck! The dining chairs and couch were so bad I almost had to set a towel down just to sit on them. Very disappointed to see the condition of them and feel sand on the floor upon arrival. Under the furniture and beds were filthy. We found trash shoved under there from previous guests. The kitchen also needs attention. Drawer liners were stained brown. Baking sheets and pots were rusted and some totally unusable. Back porch door was broken and could not be opened. Closets were dirty and used for storage making it difficult to use them (mainly the laundry closet and guest closet--master was fine). I could have done without the junk drawers scattered throughout making them unusable for us. If the owner addresses the furniture stains, poor kitchen ware, and broken door, then I would definitely stay here again. We saw the pond's resident alligator almost every day. The easy bike ride to the beach and spectacular view made up for the cons listed above."

"Everything was wonderful! We truly had zero complaints and it was my family’s favorite vacation we have ever been on! The owners would text us back right away, the location was absolutely perfect and the place was perfectly clean. The house was located about a 2-3minute walk from the beach and situated right on the lagoon with the closest/best view of the dock that the alligators would sunbathe on. The whole island felt very safe and if you love to be active, there are loads of bike trails filled with amazing views. 10/10 experience!"
