As this was our third hotel and most expensive The room could have been nicer.u the basic washroom with the cream shower curtain."

Easy walking distance to high end shopping. Safe area. Taxis always available. This was the perfect hotel for my 85 year old mother to feel comfortable and have access to seeing the sites. Highly recommend!"

"The Hanzomon Monterey hotel was a great value for the money. We appreciated several amenities such as a strong shower head (I have thick hair and need good power), the omelette bar at the buffet and the coffee maker in the room. The staff were extremely helpful and the beds were very comfortable. We found the train station across the street extremely convenient and there were several really yummy restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks, for those who like bitter coffee. It was a nice quiet area, which is what we wanted."
