"The hotel was within walking distance from the beach which was a total win! The room was clean and the air conditioning perfect! They provided beach towels which was a plus! It is located close to restaurants and the Miami bus line that was easy to use. Over all it made our 4 day stay fun and affordable! We did not drive so not to sure about the parking. There is a small kitchen setup in the room. Overall worth a short stay. Thanks for making our stay great!"

"We loved our stay here! Everything is incredibly clean and aesthetically pleasing. Staff was super friendly and accommodating! I would recommend renting a car if you’d like to get into some of the other parts of the city. The only thing that could have made this hotel better was the ability to order food by the pool! It’s truly a gem though and there are plenty of food options within walking distance. "

"I understand that this is a resort hotel in Miami Beach, but it is seriously lacking especially for the price. The online photos definitely are staged to make the place look much better than it appears in person. The rooms themselves are fine. Somewhat odd in layout, but fine. The balconies are nice and give great views. You are literally right on the beach (which we couldn't use due to wind and stinky seaweed). Honestly, it was all the little things that are lacking. There is only one restaurant on site. Menu items were limited, a la carte, and expensive. We were there with a group of 8 people. We were told no reservations the day before then showed up and were asked if we had a reservation. It took an hour and a half to get salads. The pool areas are fine but nothing to the extent of resort style pools. There is next to nothing within walking distance. And, everything costs (a lot) extra. $58/night to park. $60/resort fee. You have to be careful in the room because drinks, snacks, and beauty items abound - as long as you pay a hefty tag for them. The room safe didn't work, the TV stations were mostly spotty, there was an iron but no ironing board in the room. At least the bed was comfortable, but the hallways were often loud, and the room doors came nowhere close to sealing it out. I was glad it was a quick trip in all honesty."

"Completely different than pictures portray old and outdated! I booked 2 expensive rooms for my family thankfully only 1 night, booked this because of the ocean view and beach pictures! Constant Loud traffic noise, the light from the security lights shined brightly under the huge gap from around the door, the bathroom was so small and horrible patch job from multiple leaks a child must have repaired and painted walls. Resort fee charged there is nothing offered it’s like an old motel on the highway! The restaurant was on the harbor but crazy expensive 357$ for bar food nachos hamburger and salad and few drinks, automatic up charged 20% for 4 adults and 1 child! Very very disappointing they should pay you to stay there! "

"The hotel as crowded. Could not even use the elevators without waiting in line for 30 minutes. Rude staff that enforced crazy rules like not being able to take to elevator to the ground floor. They had someone actually stopping guests in a rude and obnoxious manner. The pools were CROWDED to an unhealthy degree and the water was ….well you can imagine. "

"Overall the stay went from terrible to disappointing. The room was very dirty when we arrived with sand all over the floor, stained sheets with wet spots on it, no towels, hair on the wall in the bathroom & tub, and something smeared on the blinds. Was able to get a call back from the manager and he said he couldn’t imagine a room in that state but would send his maintenance guy up to sweep and change sheets since he was not onsite. The nice young man with maintenance showed up and said he would do his best but that he didn’t work in housekeeping. Even after housekeeping came the next day, the room was still only partially clean. The window AC unit smelled like mildew when turned on and left all of our clothes and luggage with an odor we are trying to wash out at home. The television couldn’t stay connected to the internet, despite us calling down for help, so watching something while it was windy out was not an option. The manager never followed up, not even to come to check the room during the remainder of our stay, even though he was “shocked” to hear of its condition. And no considerations were made. The elevator in front was out so luggage had to be carried up stairs and down stairs to get to the back elevator. The pool was nice looking but very cold. The property was very disappointing. We even looked to move to a different hotel during our stay but very little was available last minute. The young lady at the front was the only redeeming factor for the hotel. "

"Parking was expensive here -- $80 for a Jeep truck per night, which was way higher than expected. There a good restaurant within walking distance -- Italian, Mexican, American, Cuban. But no corner stores close by to stock up on pop, snacks, shampoos, day-to-day items like laundry or dishwasher pods. The shower had no shelves or places to put soap, shampoo, cloths. Now, having said all this, I'd stay there in a heartbeat but the parking fee needs to be lower (not an issue if you don't have a vehicle). The staff are great, the place is spotless, the beds are comfortable, TVs are new and great. Gym, business centre and other public areas are very well maintained and highly functional. Not much to see on daily walks but if you want to be in the centre of all the action you're likely staying in South Beach or downtown anyway. I really liked 72 Park. I hope the area grows as more and more people locate there to live and play. "
