I really enjoyed my stay at the Doghouse. Having stayed in some lovely hotels over the years, many of them are similar and monotonous. The Doghouse REALLY stands out from the crowd. It has huge amounts of character. The decor is fun and unique and I love how the rooms are themed on the different beers. It was probably the nicest hotel I’ve been to. Really beautiful old building in good condition with lots different rooms to relax including the library. Our room was smallish but really nice. We normally wouldn’t eat in the hotel every night but the food and service was so good the first night we stayed the next two nights. Very very good. ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire experience was fantastic!
Hotel in general - friendly concierges, smooth check-in, cool decor, comfy library, perfect location near the Royal Mile and National Museum, and right at the top of Victoria Street (Diagon Alley)!
Room - the standard room we stayed in felt more like a suite! Heated floor, fancy control panels for lights and AC, tall ceulings, great bed, handy Smeg fridge, amazing-smelling toiletries, and a good shower too!
Can't wait to go back, it was a flawless...
