"Excellent hotel in all aspects. Breakfast buffet has everything you could ask for, all fresh and tasty. "

"Arrived for an anniversary stay with my partner and child.. upon arrival advised by local members we wouldn't want to take baby into the pool as it was like the north sea, the members have been complaining for weeks it hadnt been heated. The sauna and steam room were broken and the pool freezing. Considering it is a spa retreat destination this was shocking. We were told an engineer had been called but the members and attendees were out spoken saying they pay monthly membership and it has been broken for weeks .. Other couples arroved at the same time for spa breaks with the spa having no functioning sauna steam room or pool "

"We arrived late afternoon and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist, out room was clean, tidy & comfortable, the bathroom was of an adequate size although the shower/bath tap was lacking in pressure. Breakfast was good with choices of cereals, teas/coffees, yoghurt, bread for toast was fresh as were the croissants. The hot breakfast bap with egg, bacon & sausage was very good. During our stay the 5 members of staff (Lisa, Helen, Dianne, Gemma & Dorothy) we came into contact with couldn't have been any more friendly and helpful. You have to pay for car parking (£5.00 per 24 hrs). The only downside, if any, it is on the edge of a small retail park and apart from a Costa & Greggs there is nowhere within walking distance to eat."

"There was no heating on during my stay; the room was cold. The TV on the wall had no nearby socket to plug it into. The lamp on the table had no socket to plug it into. Two of the pictures on the wall were shocking. The curtains were back to front: the right side faced out, and the lining faced the room. Moreover, they were really thin with lots of human hair between the lining and the curtain. "

"The Area is quiet and was handy for us. as a group of 6 however, there was a Nest of Ants in kitchen and Bathroom which made us feel uncomfortable when cooking food. Pots & pans weren’t in the best condition. Big Holes in wall. Felt very untidy and unclean. Since checking out I have tried to contact the host and had no response due to my concern "
