"Quaint little resort within walking distance to a few restaurants and a CVS with packaged donuts, danishes and coffee for breakfast. Gulf of America beachfront access with lounge chairs and a dock. I don’t recommend a boat bigger than 20’, it’s a tight turn to back down the sand ramp and there’s no electricity or water on the dock to rinse your boat or to flush the engine. We were wishing the was a pool, but otherwise, the cottages were very nice with full size appliances and tall ceilings. "

"What a lovely place! Clean, super friendly and helpful staff, and great breakfast options (warm and cold). We were pleasantly surprised when we drove around to our room. All the areas were landscaped and included seating areas and a number of people were sitting in these areas talking. It felt like a comfortable neighborhood setting. Absolutely LOVED it and will definitely stay here again when in the area. "

"Stand out features of this hotel was its pool and beach areas. Really stunning. Breakfast was very good and staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking. Rooms were good with the exception of the fridge which didn't cool and the very slow drainage of the shower. I'd recommend this hotel "

"I am very sorry, but you people are thieves! By mistake, I booked a room at 3:00 AM. When I arrived at that hour—having already made the reservation—they told me that the hotel was full (something that we ALL KNOW IS ALWAYS A LIE; they simply don't want to give you your room at that time of night). ALL I WANTED WAS TO REST AFTER A LONG JOURNEY. When I filed a complaint through Expedia to request a refund—since I was unable to use the room at the time I needed to rest—the Expedia agent gave me hope, assuring me that my money would be refunded because I had not utilized the reservation. Two days later, I received a notification stating that you—Hampton Inn—had not approved my refund request. (Thieves!)"
