"Overall great stuff for the price. All about the view of the harbour, Abbey, town and beyond. Fabulous people and sea watching spot. Only thing is very cold in cold weather due to single pane windows. Memorable stay. View is 5 stars!"

"Really nice stay in the first building built for tourism in the nineteenth century. Georgian in style and comfortable inside but only two downsides are that the building could do with some maintenance at the rear and the windows a clean due to seabird guano as the property is built on a cliff top, also cleaning staff using the word mate which isn’t too clever around non binary and lgbt people z Nice staff and I was given room 250 which was massive and helped a lot with my invisible disabilities z Nice breakfast and Gina the receptionist was extremely helpful on check out ."

"Fab hotel great food ,, spotless rooms and grounds would definitely recommend 7 mins drive to Whitby harbour or a good 40 mins walk and maybe get a taxi back x also park and ride directly opposite hotel "
