"A really warm welcome from staff for us and our dog. Small but comfortable room with loads of things for our dog too. Lovely breakfast brought to the door each morning. Only problem we had was struggling with the front door lock each morning when letting the dog out, it was a worry if there was a fire as it took a couple of minutes until we could get out"

"Had a lovely 2 night stay, beautiful little B&B, close enough to Richmond whilst also still being in the countryside. Owners were friendly, welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely, even had a little fridge and microwave. We had a breakfast both mornings, whilst watching all the birds and a couple of woodpeckers out in the garden. We would definitely stop here again."

"Did not have a refrigerator as was advertised. Breakfast was nice. Hamburger was nice. The seabass was very tiny. Carpet in the room was clean. The manager of the restaurant was very helpful. Very convenient hotel right off the highway. Had hard to find elevators, free parking, and A/C."

"It was fine for an overnight stop well stocked bar, breakfast a bit pricey if you do not take advantage of the full buffet, we had an evening meal that was fair. Our room 14 was right at the top of the building and not best access for a couple in their seventies very winding steep stairs, but we do appreciate it is a very old building. We also had a very strong smell in the bathroom and had to leave the fan on to keep it at bay. Staff were friendly and helpful"

"The hotel was out in the countryside with excellent views over the moors. It was very clean and well cared for. Car parking was good. The room size, bed size, etc was great. One small problem - the room lighting was not very bright during the night time. The food was excellent and the staff were great. It was also a great place for walkers with great access to the countryside. I would recommend it."

"Good size room, although steep steps up to it, so especially difficult with luggage. Also steps up to the bathroom. Lovely warm welcome from the staff and very helpful when asked about local amenities and transport. Bar can get busy especially on weekend nights. Food and drink both excellent with a full and reasonably priced menu to choose from. Car park close to the pub can get busy, but was always able to find a place when required."
