"Was stung by a scorpion inside the room it was inside the bed"

"Windy so leaves were blowing in lobby like crazy, that’s ok. I couldn’t figure out how to work the shower heads (yes multiple) and multiple faucets and nothing notated as to which worked which and I tried several ways. Even called and sent a photo to my husband to get his expertise. He just laughed. The fire alarm going off at 10:30 PM while I was sleeping scared the crap out of me. After five ear piercing blows it finally stopped so I figured I didn’t have to go downstairs. I did get two free complementary drinks at the bar for the happy hour from 530 to 7. The room was quite large. There was a room with a bed, a room with a pullout sofa and the bathroom had a door going to the bedroom and to the living room/kitchenette. The liquid creamer did not mix with the coffee. It just hung out and lops on top so I didn’t drink that. The air conditioning worked. The mattress in the bedding were awesome. The bartender was very nice. I got the nachos and those were awesome. A little mix of things to like and dislike, but I would stay there again."

"Truly enjoyed the pick/location/hotel. We don’t travel much so we have never experienced a hotel that provided dinner just breakfast accommodation. So that was helpful! Plenty of parking was a plus. The hotel is beautiful. Some things that need help… and it’s not crazy because even without the stay was great! No fan in the bathroom Different choices for breakfast essentials… maybe hash browns or country potatoes. Different sausage such as links or bacon. The elevators were a tad slow Dusting is needed especially in the dining area. Hubby looked up at the cabinets while waiting for our toast and there a lot of dust build up. Didn’t look clean : ( But all in all very nice! If we go back definitely staying here again!!!!"

"Terrible. Construction workers outside patio doors the entire 4 days working on the pool and hot tub that we paid for and paid extra so that we could have that patio they were about 4 feet from all week. Wifi costs money daily - ridiculous. 100°+ weather in AZ and air was off upon arrival - ridiculous. No smart tv - ridiculous. No microwave in room (only one small one in the lobby for the entire property). If I had more room I would go into much more detail however there isnt enough room here. I will never trust the Doubletree name again without combing through all details with a fine-tooth comb prior to booking. Don't stay here."
