Relax on the patio, watching the sun set over gently undulating hills and forests or play a game of tennis on the all-weather Tiger Turf sunken tennis court. Just 20 minutes from Roman Chester and 10 minutes from the beautiful Delamere Forest, this cosy cottage, in the owner’s grounds, is an ideal holiday base to explore Cheshire, Chester and Manchester. Chester Zoo, Oulton Park Racing Circuit, Arley Hall, Tatton Park and Beeston Castle nearby; countryside walks from the door. Golf and fishing nearby. Shops 2 miles and pub ½ mile.

We had a lovely stay at Red House Farm Cottage, out stay was to visit family locally but due to the Covid restrictions we weren't able to do so as much as originally planned. However the cottage was in a great location for outdoor walks and family activities. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Owners were very helpful and had provided good information file. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The location was good for our requirements and the cottage was lovely and warm. The beds were very comfortable but unfortunately I did find the foam mattress a bit hot during the night. There were a couple of areas where I don't think that the cleanliness was as it should be. We had a super time staying in Red House Farm Cottsge for four nights. The cottage was incredibly clean, cosy in layout with very comfortable beds. A relaxing setting and the owners and family were incredibly friendly and helpful. It was a lovely escape from our usual busy and hectic lifestyle. Lovely cottage for a family of 4 that has everything you could need, including things like proper sharp knives and a cafetière. The cottage was very clean and the hosts had provided hand soap and anti-bac spray. Our kids lovely sleeping in the upstairs area - they thought it was like being in a treehouse. The patio has a beautiful view and the garden is lovely. Our kids particularly enjoyed the swings. The hosts were very nice. We’d definitely think about staying again! The cottage is absolutely beautiful, the photos don’t really do it justice. Our kids loved sleeping in the eves which were much bigger than we expected. The garden is huge with a tree swing, football goals and a tennis court, all of which we loved. The owner (Kemper and family) also couldn’t have been more helpful. Owners were helpful and friendly while at the same time despite the closeness of the properties they left us to our own devices. They were always there should we need their assistance. Excellent position for touring the area and enabled us to visit Manchester and Chester easily and there are many places of interest around. The cottage had everything needed for the two of us and was warm and comfortable.

Lovely cottage in a great location for day trips to places like Chester zoo and Cheshire oaks. Cottage has everything you could need and the owners are really nice and helpful. Would definitely go back and stay here again.
