Triumph.
No faults at all with the hotel lovely hotel staff friendly and very helpful. Only one issue was we were in one of the front rooms and once the traffic started rather early it was noisy .

Great stay
Lovely little place. Great rooms that are really comfortable and spotlessly clean. Great friendly staff and a great breakfast. Well worth staying here. There was the usual hotel shower dance but it was all good. The only thing I’d say is that the toiletries are not to my liking as I only use vegan/non tested items but it’s a minor point and I always bring my own.

Friendly safe independent hotel
Everything was really good about our stay. We arranged for late arrival and keys no problem (call if arriving after 9pm). Really friendly and safe. Rooms warm comfortable and clean. Free wi fi throughout the hotel. Walkable to Nuneaton and would recommend Pierro Lounge for food. Free parking.

Old and tired hotel
Fawlty towers comes to mind after our stay. A tired looking hotel with very thin walls. Amenities were ok and bed was comfortable but everything looked old including the musty smell. Breakfast and waitresd was lovely. We were greeted well on arrival but service in the evening was anything but. Manager was rude and not interested in making us feel welcome. I would class this as a b & b rather than a hotel.

The hotel was ok. It seemed clean until i closed bathroom door and they obviously ckeaned with door up as there were lots of fluff and dirt. The ensuite had singke glaze air windows and ao made the whole place cold. The shower holder was broken so precarious. The shower itself went from warm to hot to freezing as if by magic without having to use the control. The breakfast was fab. Fresh hot and delicious

An old property that required much attention with decor and furnishings. The property was not as expected and should be described as a licensed property with letting rooms. The presence of a damp. musty smell was attributed to the age of the property by the lady who also showed myself and friend one of the reserved bedrooms. Having arrived at 1.30pm we decided to find alternative accommodation for our two day break. Having been a hotelier for many years I consider my decision to find alternative accommodation was very much in order.

Had expected an hotel but is in fact simply a B and B. Excellent breakfast cooked to order in the morning but no other food/bar service. The only nearby recommended restaurant was okay but not great and the local pub had closed for the night at 10 pm Neither location or state of the building has curb appeal. The Abbey Grange Hotel is an adequate, old style B and B for one night but fell short of expectations of something more.

High pitch consistent drone
I don't normally write reviews but I would advise you to avoid room 6 unless you are able to think / sleep with a high pitch consistent drone from around 9.30pm to 1.45am. The shower is just really rubbish, no pressure at all. I always look for positives and i really dont like to moan but that noise triggered me so bad. The check in, however, was quick and welcoming and other rooms may very well be fine.

The single room was very clean and comfortable. A good nights sleep from the comfy bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful with recommendations for restaurants in the local area. Breakfast was very nice.

Nice friendly staff, couldn’t be more helpful. Evening meal was good as was breakfast. Room was comfortable, with a kettle which is becoming unusual these days. For the money, great value, I’d definitely stay there again

Lovely hotel in Nuneaton
Very friendly and helpful owner/manager ‘Martin’...who also made a lovely breakfast included in the price. Room was newly decorated and well equipped, some parts of the hotel were in need of an update but on the whole okay. We arrived late at night so the bar wasn’t open, not sure of the hours and if food available through the week. There are places to eat not too far away though. Plenty of on-site parking which is great. Ideal location for visiting surrounding area...would definitely stay here again.

Nuneaton surprise.
Hotel location convenient for my meeting in Coventry next day. Nuneaton town disappointing. Selected restaurant not open. Drove to Fillongley to eat. Room quality excellent with good facilities and really clean. Looked newly refurbished. Building exterior looked down at heel but think this is work in progress. Would stay there again.

Don't just rely on first impression
I booked this hotel as it looked OK on hotels.com. When I arrived I wasn't too impressed. On finding out that the TV didn't work I was rather disappointed. However, I was promptly upgraded to a better room with working TV. The good service makes me happy to recommend this hotel.

Friendly owners & nice hotel. Had to go next door to owners house to ask to be let in at check in as hotel locked up. No restaurant weekdays inc Friday night for dinner. Rather threatening notice on the entrance door explaining own drinks policy. Breakfast was great & on the whole it was.... OK.

Noiseyas on main road although my ear plugs helped
Room 6 was comfortable and wifi no problems, was cold during the night once heating went of at 10pm. Shower was good, as well as breakfast. Owner does not allow Alcohol not bought from the Bar into your room which is a strange one as the Bar was shut when I returned. A warning sign explains this which was handy or I would have.
