"The hotel is a converted motel in front of the Main Street in Santa Barbara a short walk from the pier and the docks. The furnishings of the hotel are nice however the noise and lack of amenities are a serious problem. There is no building and the rooms are setup motel style where you will hear people outside your door walking around or heading to their room all night. The walls are very thin we heard every zipper from the suitcase next door, the conversations and weird banging. The street noise with cars with loud mufflers driving by also woke us up multiple times. The hotel has a nice pool but no service for drinks, no bar, no official restaurant on site. I can see people enjoying their stay if they are going to enjoy the location and don’t care much about noise but for those expecting an actual hotel experience I would look elsewhere."

"Loved the location - near the beach, but not directly in Downtown Santa Barbara where it can be loud. The property had comfy beds and very quiet. Also enjoyed the free parking! The breakfast was good - upgrade from a typical Marriott but not gourmet. Nice they had coffee for a while in the morning. Wish I brought my swimsuit to use the pool in the future."

"The room Was VERY outdated for a 400$+/night room. Grout In The bathroom was brown and gross and the tub covering was peeling. The bike rentals were a nice touch but could use some maintenance. Squeaky brakes and the kids bike could raise or lower because it was so rusted. The pool was a nice area. We had to check out at noon and played by the pool and used the pool Bathroom that had a shower in it but the hotel doesn’t offer travel sized shampoo / conditioner bottles only the stuff in the room. It was located across the street from the beach, but a good mile walk towards the end of State Street. Parking was also another 42$ night which is ridiculous."

"This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I could not stay in my room. I ended up sleeping on the couch at a winery for 2 days. The shower was dirty upon arrival. If I showered there I would have needed to keep my shoes on. The jacuzzi tub was no better. It was dirty and had hair in it that was not mine. There were stains on the bed spread. Staff was not present continually but rather left a phone number to call. I took pictures and will follow up. I would not recommend this place to anyone. It’s a dump!"

"A few blocks from the marina. Large rooms with extra small room to get ready or use as an office. Nice happy hour - chilled white and chilled red wine with cheese, crackers, and cookies. Nice continental breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Quiet property. Parking is a bit tight with small spaces and poles you have to watch out for. The coffee could be stronger."
