Our favorite Orlando getaway!

We have been coming here since I was a little girl. It is more beautiful and relaxing than ever! The villas are clean, quiet, and beautifully decorated. Our young kids had a blast and we will be back very soon!

Roach Motel!

After a long day of airline delays and a 2.5 hour check-in process at the resort, we were very much looking forward to our stay at Orange Lake. Unfortunately, the villa my daughter and I were assigned to had a serious cockroach problem, which was addressed quickly at first, but only by spraying chemicals. No attempt was made to ascertain how they were entering, and the spray did basically nothing to deter them from entering the unit. Each day, I would find at least 3 very large roaches (both alive and dead/dying) in the master bedroom/bathroom, kitchen, or living room - one even found its way into my suitcase! The entire resort is surrounded by Pine Bark landscape mulch, which is a well-known favorite of cockroaches, but they should not be entering the unit so easily. The pest-control person who sprayed said 90% of the calls he receives are for roaches, so obviously this is not an isolated incident. After several calls to the owner and resort management, all I was offered in compensation on the last day of my stay was a $100 credit to be used in the resort. To say the trip was tainted by this problem is an understatement...I am back home now and can't stop scanning the floor in case one made its way back in my suitcase! Needless to say, I would not recommend this property until serious measures are taken to fix the problem.

Fantastic spot. Unit is a little worn - needs updating. Old appliances. Washer and dishwasher sound like a jet engine. Could use electric kettle, baking sheets and a few more kitchen utensils. Resort was great.

You will not be disappointed!

Loved the property! It was very clean, beds were comfortable, very quiet, had everything we needed just like home! Felt very comfortable staying in the condo and was like staying with a friend. We felt very safe with a gated property and security. Lots of parking and had no issues with check in or at/with the resort. Property was in perfect proximity for visiting Disney, Universal and all the parks. Nick was awesome to work with and always quick to answer any questions. Definitely would stay there again!

Christmas at Orange Lake

Great resort, very comfortable apartment with all you need for your stay. We spent Christmas with family, some days in west village and also in north village (newer). Lots of activities in the resort for those days you don’t go to the park. Close to all parks and shopping centers. Nick was very responsive and help us to have a wonderful stay in the resort. We will come back!
