Spent 10 days at WoodSpring in Sanford Fl, for Daytona International Speedway SpeedWeek. Was a great experience, with the staff always welcoming and supportive to the needs of the customer. Reasonable price and basically right between Orlando and Daytona International. Although they did not serve breakfast, they listed this issue beforehand. There are many restaurants within a short distance (we basically ate every morning at IHOP 1/4 mile away). For resting your head; a really great place to stay. The only issue is the smell of pot smoke during the day and evening. The hotel tried to make the smell go away and was great clean smell in morning just to many smokers since the legality has come to play. Much like tobacco smoke in the past. Just not my thing but maybe worth considering.

I don’t think my room was cleaned beforehand at all except for the sheets, towels and trash. There were dried up contacts and food bits on the floor, which was all slippery. And the countertops and tub had visible gunk and hair all over them. Front desk staff were all very lovely though.

The room was spacious with a decent kitchen area. There was a good size desk and a lot of storage space. However, it was pretty bare bones. There was an area to hang items, but no hangars. Coffee was only available in the lobby. There was only 1 USB outlet. (None of these would be a big deal if you knew ahead of time what to expect.) The bigger downsides - the chair was so worn that Salvation Army wouldn't have accepted it as a donation. We could hear a lot of noise from the hallway, the room above, and the parking lot. The first room we were sent to had linens and towels on the floor and had not been cleaned.

Check in process was good and having laundry on site was nice. The bedding was clean however the floors were dirty, very sticky and the people above us were up ALL NIGHT! Midnight, 1,2,3am sounding like they were moving furniture around the entire night. Non stop. Tried to call the front desk from the in-room phone and it didn’t work. We figured the people had to be on drugs, seriously to moving absolutely non stop. It was so crazy. We literally got maybe a total of an hour of broken sleep. It was awful. We will Probably never stay in an extended stay again.

When I first walked in the room, I noticed the fridge had numerous rust spots all over it. Towels had a yellow-ish to them. The bed was comfortable. The TV remote was sticky. The bedside lamp and outlets did not work and were rusty. Overall for the price, it was a decent stay.

This place is fine for what you pay. It is extremely humid no matter where you go on the Hotel. I reserved a King room and got a room with 2 bed, oh well, is what it is. Room has a strong bleach smell and there was clearly signs there was mold in some places. You can hear EVERYTHING from the rooms around you. Every step. toilet flushing, TV, door opening and closing. Beds are a but hard and no blanket, just 2 flat sheets on top of each other. Not bad for the price but there is probably better out there. There are a lot of restaurants and gas stations around so that was nice.
