"The location is beautiful and the breakfast service and quality is excellent. My only real complaint is that the bed in the Feng Shui room could do with a new mattress and duvet as both are a little lumpy. Overall I'd recommend it for the cost though."

If your expecting the Ritz go somewhere else if you want cheap clean and comfort go to the aysgarth hotel. Location is perfect 2 minute walk to beach or central pier. "It was more affordable than other places near the centre, only 5-10 minutes walk to Lime Street station. The apartment was clean and quiet too and check-in was straight forward. Only issue I had was a very uncomfortable bed that made a lot of noise every time you moved because it was a fold-away bed. They had put a mattress topper on to try and help but did not sleep well. Fine for one night but I wouldn't want to sleep there for consecutive nights on that bed. "
