We loved the executive lodge,nice and warm and clean,we had food in the restaurant which was lovely,it was quite lively as the was a wedding but the setting of the property is stunning,breakfast was just ok the food was warm and the plate was extremely hot bit wierd.

Chevin is a good base to see Yorkshire

Having used Chevin in the past, it was a pleasant stay for a midweek break. Think most people would enjoy the facilities that it has to offer. Would gladly use it again.

Lovely service but hotel is rough around the edges

The room was fine, quite large but relatively empty of furniture so it felt a bit odd inside. The hotel itself is quite dated, quite desperately in need of a refurbish. The staff however were very kind, helpful, and friendly so can't fault that. I think if they spent some time refreshing this place and modernising it, it could be quite wonderful given the gorgeous location.

Could do so much better. Lovely location, very small rooms. Staff were all delightful but there aren’t enough of them. They have a bar with a sign that instructs you to go and find someone in the restaurant if you want a drink. Go to the restaurant and the staff have too much on their plates to worry about you. Food was patchy, breakfast is good value however if you get the right chef on the right day.

Can’t fault it. Alpine country lodge

Excellent hotel, country retreat. The hotel itself is styled like an alpine skiing lodge. Open fire, really cosy place.

Place was lovely and the breakfast was excellent. The room clean and the bed was really comfortable. The too. was just too warm to sleep properly with no air conditioning and the radiator outside number 2 room was on constantly. Nice use of spa facilities for free. I would stay again but maybe in a cooler month due to lack of air conditioning.
