We really appreciated the friendliness of the staff at this hotel. The only thing that affected us was the check in parking. There is no parking allowed at the entrance to thecheck in desk. The driveway goes downhill from the entrance and there are 8 or 10 spots on the way down to the street. They were all taken so I had to park at the last spot going down the hill. I walk with a cane since my hip replacement las fall and it was difficult to walk up and down that hill at check in time. The alternative was to park at the rear or on the side of the property. After check in it was good because we had level ground from the parking lot to our room. The hotel shoul assign one spot for check in parking near the door.

We found hair on the pillows and all over the bathroom floor. And we also found human nail clippings on the carpet. Aside from that, it was ok.

Overall it was fine. Would have been nice to know it was under renovations. Laneway was dug up on one side. Renovations to bathroom wasn't finished - paint spatters, wallpaper bubbled. Tiling not finished off.

Money grab.
Do to a glitch in the hotels.ca systwm qw got booked for the wrong night. Boyj hotels.ca or Comfort inn will do anything for us leaving us out $185. We understànd policies but taking $185 and the hotel pocketed it without us even staying. We will not deal with hotels.ca nor Comfort inn again. Both have stung us in the past and have done so again. All we wantes to do was to see our son, who was deployed 3 times to afganistan and 1 rime bosnia, lay a wreath on rememberance day. Sad day for us and our Vets.
