"We really enjoyed our stay at Casa Aria! The host was wonderful and very responsive whenever we needed her. The house was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our entire stay. The only thing we needed was to buy groceries.We loved the location, tucked up on the hill away from everyone.We did have a few scorpions make their way into the house, but this is understandable given the tropical location and recent rain. It was not a reflection of the home’s cleanliness. The host responded quickly and had the house treated right away, which we really appreciated.The only thing we would have preferred was the security camera facing the pool lounge area. We understand the need for security cameras, but would have preferred it to be positioned differently or turned off to provide a little more privacy while enjoying the pool.Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would definitely stay at Casa Aria again!"

"What a wonderful home and a beautiful place to stay in Playa Hermosa. The entire house was impeccable, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Our morning coffee while enjoying the gorgeous views was one of our favorited parts of the stay. Having a coffee bar right in the bedroom was such a thoughtful touch - especially for my husband, who is an early riser! The house had everything we could possibly need, and my favorited feature was the spa-like showers. I loved the beautiful tiles, natural rocks, and the overall feeling of bringing nature indoors. We both had some of our best nights sleep in the incredibly comfortable bed.My husband especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool with a cold beer whiled enjoying taking in the stunning ocean views. It was such a peaceful and comfortable home, and we truly enjoyed every moment.Thank you for sharing your beautiful Casa Plumeria with us. We can’t wait to return."

"Absolutely the ideal place for a vacation. Tons to do within a very short distance if you want to stay busy, but a beautiful place to hang out if you just want to relax by the pool with the most picturesque views imaginable. The house was perfectly equipped with everything we needed. The information provided by the host for local amenities and available activities was spot-on. I would recommend this property to anyone I know."

"The property has an amazing view and layout of the patio area was great. Comfortable accommodations throughout. I did not give the property 5-stars due to it being a bit worn in some areas and the kitchen was a bit lacking for items or they were very tired. Great overall stay though. The management company was extremely helpful with a few requests that came up during our stay. Would return in the future."

"Great stay with a few helpful tips for future guests!We loved our stay here! The location is excellent—close enough to the gate and down the hill so that we didn't need a golf cart (though if you stay higher up the hill, you'd definitely want one). The place was very clean, had tons of clothing storage, and the pool was fantastic. Plus, everyone we encountered was super friendly!A couple of quick things for future travelers to note:Layout: The kitchen and one of the bedrooms are on the third floor, so if stairs are difficult for you, this might not be the right fit.Water Temp: The water temperature in a couple of the bathrooms wasn't great, though the primary bathroom (where I stayed) was absolutely perfect.Pro-Tip: We found out on our last day that the grocery store closest to the gate on the right is the most expensive one around—wish we had known that sooner, so shop around!Overall, a wonderful place to stay and we highly recommend it! and we would stay here again."

"Our group of 14 said this was the best trips we've ever had as a family, if not the best! When my husband and I travel solo, we enjoy resorts with exceptional service- such as Rosewood or the Four Seasons- and Villa Buena Onda exceeded our expectations. In a private rental you usually don't get the same level of service as you do at a resort (nor do I expect it). However, Villa Buena Onda provides a full service experienceFrom before booking to check out, Charlie was amazing! He replied promptly with detail to my questions (I had a lot)On a day to day basis, we had Samuel, Ashley &Nela on staff. Nela made delicious meals every day and was so sweet to make a cake for one of our guest's birthday. Ashley & Samuel took care of anything we needed during the day. A few went deep sea fishing. Samuel offered to clean the fish and then staff prepared it for lunch for us (even though we did not have lunch included in our meal plan- more on that later- and expected to clean the fish ourselves).The villa was gorgeous. Rooms were comfortable & well stocked.The grounds and outdoor setup provide your own private oasis. The covered lounge area with fans made it pleasant to sit outside all day by the pool. The spa is a nice touch and recommended. I recommend adding the full bar to the meal plan. We opted NOT to do it because there were a couple people in our group who don't drink, but in hindsight it would have been easier and well worth it. I highly recommend Villa Buena Onda!"
