"This property was stunningly beautiful!! More beautiful than pictures can show. The view is absolutely gorgeous every night there is a picture perfect sunset! The driveway is very steep, have a nimble suv and you will make it up. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back! "

"Our family of 6 stayed in the family suite for 3 nights. 2 double beds and a separate room with a king bed, 1 bathroom. The 1 bathroom was a little tricky especially in the morning and at shower time, but we made it work. Our only complaint for the room is no hot water for showers, but maybe this is throughout the property. We liked the food as it was more authentic than a different property we stayed at right before going to Condovac. We would've liked the buffet eggs at breakfast to be more cooked. We loved the setting being higher in the mountains, a lot of animals, a short walk (or shuttle ride provided by the property) to the beautiful beach and a little store right by the beach for souvenirs or to restock toiletries/snacks. The shuttle became a great option as we tired from walking up the steep road to the main part of the resort. The main part is where the pools are, the dining hall with plenty of seating, a bath house & workout building with weights and cardio equipment. We enjoyed the lizards and iguanas walking around the pool deck! Listening to and seeing howler monkeys! We wish there were more pool chairs/loungers. Too few of loungers for even half the guests to use. They were taken quickly and people were not shy about leaving a towel on it while they weren't using it for hours at a time. The 4 pools were very clean. Beautiful infinity pools! Wading area and shallow pool for younger kids. Staff was awesome 24/7!!! "

"This was a beautiful stay and perfect for our family of four. The property manager was incredibly responsive and helpful. When we arrived, it seemed the cleaning staff had not been as thorough as they should have been, or perhaps there had been a lengthy period between the home being cleaned and our arrival. I shared minor concerns with the property manager, and the cleaning staff arrived the next morning. The home was spotless and beautiful when we returned from lunch. We had a great time using the pool, the deck, and relaxing in the hope. The kitchen was well stocked. Easy access to beaches and other impressive exploration opportunities. We'd definitely book this home again. "

"Our group of 14 said this was the best trips we've ever had as a family, if not the best! When my husband and I travel solo, we enjoy resorts with exceptional service- such as Rosewood or the Four Seasons- and Villa Buena Onda exceeded our expectations. In a private rental you usually don't get the same level of service as you do at a resort (nor do I expect it). However, Villa Buena Onda provides a full service experienceFrom before booking to check out, Charlie was amazing! He replied promptly with detail to my questions (I had a lot)On a day to day basis, we had Samuel, Ashley &Nela on staff. Nela made delicious meals every day and was so sweet to make a cake for one of our guest's birthday. Ashley & Samuel took care of anything we needed during the day. A few went deep sea fishing. Samuel offered to clean the fish and then staff prepared it for lunch for us (even though we did not have lunch included in our meal plan- more on that later- and expected to clean the fish ourselves).The villa was gorgeous. Rooms were comfortable & well stocked.The grounds and outdoor setup provide your own private oasis. The covered lounge area with fans made it pleasant to sit outside all day by the pool. The spa is a nice touch and recommended. I recommend adding the full bar to the meal plan. We opted NOT to do it because there were a couple people in our group who don't drink, but in hindsight it would have been easier and well worth it. I highly recommend Villa Buena Onda!"

"We arrived late after a long travel and wanted something close to the airport. We had limited options last minute. The walls in the condo needed a good scrub down. The beds were comfortable and clean. They provided way more than enough towels which was nice. However I felt like the place needed upgrades and wasn’t worth the big price. The main pool area and restaurant seemed sufficient and clean. The Condos were a bit farther off the main road and felt secluded. I would have appreciated being in a gated area and having safer parking options as well. "

"Thank you! We enjoyed the views. Great for bird watching! Easy to find and very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed, but keep in mind you will need to bring your own coffee and condiments. Showers were nice! Beds were all extremely firm. "

"We had a wonderful stay here with another couple from Canada. You can see the ocean from the property as well as the entire beautiful valley. House was VERY spacious, clean and well maintained. We absolutely loved the pool and the patio. Would definitely recommend. "
