Great property, extremely clean and with easy access to metro and bus. As a bonus on location, you’ll be less than two blocks from Rue Mouffetard, which is busting with restaurants, patisseries and small local stores.

Highly recommend this hotel. Bus stop is just a minute away. Great neighborhood with many restaurants and local stores. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The only cons would be thin walls. You can hear people on the hallway if they are loud. Overall, great hotel.

The overall property was satisfactory, but the room and bathroom were notably small, offering limited space for clothing. The rooms are stacked on top of one another, leading to a lot of noise disturbances from other guests. The cleaning schedule started around 8 am, resulting in frequent door slamming. Earplugs might be helpful for light sleepers as it was very hard to sleep through. On a positive note, the hotel is in a charming neighbourhood with a quick walk to the metro.

I very much enjoyed my short stay and will return again if the occasion presents itself. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the facility has been tastefully renovated recently, and I love the neighborhood for many reasons.

The hotel was great and very convenient with our Paris walking excursion’s . The breakfast was continental but we had plenty of options to start our day . The fresh bread, croissants ,yogurt , meats and cheeses were fabulous. I am a big eater and I never left hungry at breakfast. The staff were very helpful and thankfully understood English because our French is not good. The rooms are small but very modern and clean. We expected this in Paris and we will be back!

Everything's is good. Safe area a lot of food around. Close to Subway and buses. Nice service, clean room. Only thing is not that good is the room are so small.

After booking this hotel i contacted them with a couple of simple questions, their response when it came was brusque and unhelpful The day before i was due to stay i received an email saying that they couldn't accommodate us, with no further explanation but a transfer to a different hotel in a different part of the city. There was no further communication from them when asked for more details Whilst i cannot comment on the property or location itself, the customer service is utterly appaling and on that alone i would not recommend considering this hotel!

Lovely location close to metro. Plenty of food and cafes around. Recently refurbed. Nice lobby. No bar. Rooms are small but it’s Paris. Would definitely return.

I had a mixed experience in the property. It is in a very nice area of paris and super safe feeling. The desk is maned 24 hrs a day which is great. The property is nicely styled and overall looked really clean. I found it a great spot for easily getting to food and safely return at night. However, there were some areas I think it could improve for a 4 star hotel. I did see some bugs scuttle across the shower on two different occasions. And the hallway is completely not soundproofed to the rooms (Although the hotel is otherwise quiet). So if a guest comes back late, loudly you will hear everything for a few floors. And despite the room blocking out other light sources, a lot of light comes in around the main door to the room at night. Which was distracting while sleeping. The mattresses were also SO HARD. I am a side sleeper and tossed and turned in discomfort each night here. Overall I had a good experience in the property for everything besides sleeping well.

This was a lovely hotel to stay at in the Latin quarter. The subway was a 5 minute walk which had connections to all the major attractions (Louvre, Eiffel Tower, etc.). Everyone at the front desk was exceptional including Amanda! The room were clean and modern looked to be recently renovated same which the lobby lounge area. The only thing was that the room was quite small, but that wasn’t a negative for us. We were site seeing most of the time and didn’t spend a lot of time in the room. Would stay here again and would recommend to anyone staying in Paris!

Great Choice
Hotel de Esperance was a great choice for a 5 day visit to Paris! The hotel is conveniently located near public transportation as well as numerous cafes. It is non-smoking. The breakfast offered a good variety in a comfortable space. The room was spacious, clean and quiet with a comfortable bed. The staff were all welcoming, hospitable and very knowledgeable. They were always willing to answer our questions. Highly Recommendable.

Room needs some English speaking channels on TV, more AC control below 19C ( it's monitored to 19 )Hangers are not enough for a one week stay, no iron in room? Also iron they gave me has no steam option! 11Euros for Continental bfast is too much; this should be around 7-8. Coffee free though all day! 2 bottles of water free in mini bar. per stay not per day? for a 4star hotel I'd say they need to make this 3.5 max

This is a lovely property very close to wonderful shopping and dining along Rue Moffetard. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a metro station within easy walking distance and a bus at the end of the block. I would absolutely stay here again.

The breakfast options were fantastic, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and I would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris! The room was spacious and clean, and we had access to a nespresso machine in our room as well as access to a hot drink machine in the lobby at any time.

Wow this place was incredible! We found the neighbourhood to be charming and packed with things to do. The subway was nearby and easy to access. The room was larger than expected and the staff were so friendly. There was a half flight of stairs to climb to the room from the elevator, but it was very manageable. Overall this was such a pleasant experience and we will definitely be back again!

I loved the location of this Hotel. This is the part of Paris I would want to live. The neighborhood wasn't overcrowded with tourists. The cafes and restaurants across the street and on the corner felt like local hangouts not tourist traps. The four days flew by. We especially connected with Samy behind the front desk at night. He helped us with our restaurant choices and just spent time with us, helping us create a fantastic vacation. If I ever get to come back to Paris...I'll stay here again.

Fabulous customer service. We stayed three nights and first night realized our beautiful room’s tub was too difficult for one of us to get in and out of due to a disability. The staff quickly relocated us to a room with walk in shower. The hotel was immaculate and a great location in Latin Quarter. Bed super comfortable. Small refrigerator in room. Breakfast was available on site for small fee. Highly recommend.

A great boutique hotel in a nice area. Very clean and cozy. We loved our stay here, especially as we could walk to many great cafes, restaurants, and bakeries. We walked to Luxembourg garden and Pantheon. It took us ten minutes. The only thing that was a surprise to us was that the elevator stops between floors, so we had to carry our luggage down a few steps to our room. The staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience. We would definitely stay at this hotel again.
