The location is great. Walking distance to metro and bus stations. It's also close to the shopping area. Receptionists are very friendly and glad to help. The wifi reception is not very good. Couldn't connect to wifi in the first 2 days.

Clean and comfortable hotel
Hotel Montebello was excellent. Very comfortable, clean, with kind and helpful staff. Beware there is no elevator, so if stairs are an issue, request a low floor. Hotel Montebello is in a great area in the heart of Paris, not a touristy area, which we really enjoyed.

We loved the walkable location of this property to most of Paris highlights. Close to wonderful patisseries and shopping. Close to metro. Modern features in our room while retaining the old world charm of the building. Loved having the complete kitchenette.

This property is ideally located in the 7th Arrondisement, and is convenient to so many of the wonderful sights of Paris. 30 minute walk to the Eiffel Tower. Just under 30 minute walk to the Louvre. Less than 20 minutes to the d’Orsay Museum. It’s just around the corner from a great patisserie, grocery stores, restaurants and more. When my son needed a doctor, the front desk worked quickly to get one to come to our room. Though the room is not large, at least by American standards, it was adequate for a family of 4. We were able to prepare basic meals in the small kitchen. And, this was particularly helpful as the hotel does not offer breakfast. The hotel is not fancy though it is perfectly adequate for a family who wants to stay in the center of Paris without breaking their budget.

Groupe de 10 personnes, vous aviez 2 appartements, 1er et 2eme étage et un studio supérieur au 3ème étage . Merci au staff qui vous a aidé à monter les bagages . Cordialement

Fantastic place
I love the room and the location. It was really close to most things to see. It has a laundry in front and a really close supermarket a plus. I I’m in love with it.

The hotel is in a lovely quiet upscale neighbourhood. Just a few minutes walk from subway and groceries and restaurants. Less touristy parks and museums on the opposite side of the Siene. A true hidden gem.

Check in was fast and easy, hotel was easy to find, room was clean. Staff was friendly, they were also accommodating. My only disappointment was walking up so so so many stairs to reach the room with my luggage and at the end of a long day the last thing I want to do is climb 100 steps. Everything else was perfect.

Room is super clean and the street is extremely quite at night. So you can actually get some rest after walking around all day. Loved that we have a closet, refrigerator, stove and heated towel racks. Would definitely recommend to friends and stay here on our next trip to Paris

You get what you pay for and I don't mean that in a bad way. You're not paying 5 star money so don't expect 5 star service. Hotel Montebello fulfilled what it stated to be and it did so well. We enjoyed our stay and if we were to ever go back to Paris (never, lol) we would stay here again. Vanau, the area where the Hotel is located, is a fabulous area with lots of shops and consumer businesses.

We were a family of 9 and rented 3 apartments. They were all modernized and the kitchens were especially useful. Location was great. walking distance to restaurants, grocery stores and shopping Would definitely stay here again Pros: Location A/C Modern Kitchen Cons: no elevator (not that big of a deal for us)

The location was good. The property was clean. The staff were helpful. The WiFi worked. There was no breakfast option. There was no elevator. The cleaning fee paid directly to the hotel obviously did not include cleaning the dishes.

This property is very close to the metro and also close to a large grocery store. The room is very small with only a bedside table on 1 side. It would be nice to have at least 1 chair with a back on it - there are 2 metal stools only.

The price of tourist taxes and cleaning fees are specified on the various sites, so we do not understand your surprise when we asked you to pay these fees. The price for 30m2, an apartment with separate room 160/170 € seems really reasonable for the district of the 7th arrondissement. The wooden floors are part of the typically Parisian charm of this kind of building. We are sorry that it sounded noisy. We repeat the Hotel does not have a lift but there are only 4 floors. Great little hotel in a great neighborhood
Great location, great rooms, and great staff. This gem is located in a neighborhood that does not seem very touristy. There are many cafes, brasseries, bakeries, cheese shops, etc. where you can experience a bit of real Paris. It is convenient to multiple metro lines and within easy walking distance of the museum of the army/napoleons tomb. The rooms were very well appointed and make an excellent base for visiting Paris. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay again.

So-So Experience
Room is not ready at 5pm. waited for 15 min. Fine prints are not obvious from Hotels.com : no elevator, additional cleaning fee per day, and no washing machine, 50% payment 3 weeks before arrival, etc Pictures are also misleading as the room is smaller than expected. Good for 1 person but small for 2.

Hello, All it's written on the website, no elevator, touristic taxes and cleaning fees to pay when you arrive at the hôtel. The size of all the apartments and studio are specified on all the website and oour own website. You have a laundry just in front the Hotel. The check in is at 4pm and we are surpised that you said at 5pm the studio was not ready and you wait 15mn more to enter. Cordiallly

Clean and modern individual studios and apartments in a typical Parisian town house a stone's throw from Rue Sevres and Bon Marche. Very helpful reception. Car parking rec and prebooked nearby. Proper beds and very clean. Walk to most of south bank.

Fantastic hidden gem
What a wonderful stay we had in Hotel Montebello. We were a family of 4 adults for 3 nights in a cozy room with a double bed, pullout sofa bed and a kitchenette. Honestly was a bit worried before arriving in Paris because this was a newer hotel with fewer reviews than I'm used to booking. But the quality of service, the practicality of the room and the location next to two Metro stops and grocery stores, made it a perfect stay. The owner helped us check-in early, carefully explained the Metro system and helped us with our million questions. He made our visit to Paris 100% better because of his thoughtfulness. The hotel itself is small and artfully decorated. There was a ton of cutlery, glasses, pans, kettle, stove, microwave, corkscrew (so useful because we dined in a lot!). If I had to change anything, I'd like to suggest a lock for the washroom doors and maybe a mirror in the bedroom. Overall, this hotel is a lovely budget-friendly stay, close to major tourist attractions with a friendly owner. Definitely booking again!

The location is the best part,Close to most of the must see places in Paris At the reception the support is good, The walls and floors are thin, so when some one walks around you feel disturbed Overall value for money!

A very nice and clean hotel. Perhaps the only downside is the lack of lift, so a word of caution for those allocated with room at higher floor.

What a great apartment!
