Apartment is in a great location! Close to metro stops, restaurants and shops— all right outside the door! Owner was very responsive and helpful with communications, and check-in was super easy. Could get to most sightseeing spots by train or walking 15-30 minutes. Apartment is sizable with living room, table and bedroom. Would definitely book again!
The location of the property is the best. A lot of attractions have walking distances and it is easy to access public transportation. Paris public transportation is amazing with accurate schedules.
This apartment was in a fantastic location, easy to access via the metro from both the airport or major train stations. Host was very quick to respond to any inquiries, and check in process was very easy.
The apartment was charming, clean and incredibly well stocked. It has every convenience, appliance and supply needed to meet all daily needs. Location is within walking distance to all Paris to offer. Highly recommend this place whilst being in Paris.

Parigi amore mio!
My holiday in Paris was wonderful, on the other hand with a city so full of culture, history, art... As for Arnaud's apartment, I must say that it is furnished with style and great care, there is everything you need for cooking... it is located in a central position and a stone's throw from the Chatelet-Les Hall metro (where the RER arrives from Orly airport). If I have to find a flaw: a slight smell of smoke in the apartment (but I say this as a former smoker so very sensitive to the subject). Enjoy your holiday at Casa di AAArnaud!
The apartment is gorgeous, spacious and located at the heart of Paris
Bistros, restaurants, attractions and access to RER and metro right there.
I would highly recommend it to anyone
Arnaud’s apartment in Paris is much larger than we thought. When my kids walked into his place, they both said “WOAH!!”. It’s very cool, and felt like we lived in Paris. The location was amazing and Arnaud helped us to find a delicious place to eat dinner as well.
Absolutely Great location in heart of Paris! Our property owner was very responsive to our request and offered to have house keeper come half way through our trip. American travelers, this place is close to many of the big sightseeing spots and excellent food choices are very close. The toilet is a little different than you may expect but you have plenty of room and you are paying for the location! Would stay again!
We had a great stay and wish we had booked for longer. Perfect location and the apartment has everything we needed. We’ll definitely stay again next time we are in Paris. The only thing is if you are short, ask the host to leave the stepladder to reach the key box. You’ll only need to do this once and the host is very responsive. Thank you!
Arnaud’s apartment was ideally located next to Metro and Monprix for groceries. It was also within walking distance for us to most everything
It has to be one of the largest apartments we have stayed in in Paris and very comfortable.
For those allergic to smoke there was a faint smell of smoke but we didn’t really notice it at all. Would definitely stay there again.
Arnaud replies to all messages immediately, which was impressive
This is probably the best place you are going to find in Paris. You should stop looking from other places and just book this one. It is located super centrally in Paris, right outside the Les Halles and Chatelet metro stops so getting around was no issue. It is also less than 10 minutes from the Louvre, Notre Dame, and other key land marks. Arnaud was an incredible host and keeps his apartment very clean and very well decorated. The vibes in the apartment were immense. I will definitely be looking to stay here again!
Bright, spacious place in the middle of a busy lively area. Close to restaurants, groceries, trains and sights as you can walk to everything (as described). Feels more like a home exchange rather than a hotel like experience, but we enjoyed the décor and personality. Good to cook some meals at home. We booked knowing it would be a busy, noisy weekend and had fun with that. Was quieter during the weekdays, but not always. We found the bed comfortable and the sofa bed was sufficient for our 2 kids. Would stay again.
The reason it is 4 stars is, there is construction at the property ( painting ) and seemed like the guests before may have smoked in the property. The location is excellent. It does get noisy as the apartment is surrounded by restaurants and in general a happening place. Rig by across Châtelet Metro station very convenient to take the public transportation. The one downside is the cellular data around this neighborhood ( for ATT users) is really bad. We have lit candles and incense provided by the landlord to tolerate the smell. It is a great property to stay during Olympics I am sure
Arnaud‘s apartment is in a wonderful location for exploring central Paris on foot and the metro is so close also. The apartment was characterful with interesting sculptures and artwork. The apartment was well appointed and had everything we needed for our short stay. Arnaud was a great host - excellent at keeping in touch and gave helpful instructions and promptly replied to any queries.
Just a short walk from the apartment are lots of wonderful shops, boulangeries, patisseries and bistros. It is a lively area on - especially weekend evenings but that suited us fine. Thanks Arnaud for a great stay!
Location, location, location!!! Great and affordable apartment in city center. 10 minute walk to Louvre and Notre Dame. 2 minute walk to train station, 1 minute to G20 (supermarket) and 30 seconds to Chatelet Metro station. Many nearby restaurants and shops within walking distance. Apartment was clean, bed was super comfy and sleeper couch in living room was acceptable. Apartment offered wonderful view of metro station and all the people afoot. I will stay here again when I return to Paris!!
We enjoyed our stay in Paris and the location of the apartment. We were close to many bars and restaurants and the Louvre was within walking distance. The apartment was good but since the photos were taken with a wide angle lens it was somewhat deceiving regarding the size of the apartment. The bed was very comfortable with great linens. The shower and toilet area were very small. It is more of a kitchenette, it would be hard to cook a meal. Fine for making coffee or heating up leftovers. We were given the code for the lock box outside the apartment but we did not have the code to get into the building however Arnaud was quick to respond and we got in soon after. Interesting art pieces and books.

Very clean and convenient to everything you would want to visit in Paris. We walked, took Lime bikes, metro/RER. Everything you need is right out your front door. Arnaud is a wonderful host and very good with communication. He is kind and was willing to help with all our questions. We are a family of 4 including two teenagers (14 and 16) and felt like we had plenty of space. Both kids asked if we could rent the same apartment if we return to Paris. My husband and I both agreed we would rent this apartment again! The apartment is designed well, immaculate, and comfortable. You will not be disappointed!
Pros:
1. Great location. Next to a metro station. Near lots of restaurants, bars, attractions. There’s a small supermarket nearby.
2. Spacious. Can easily sleep four
3. Has all necessary amenities except AC. Wi-Fi is fast
Cons:
1. Room floor needs a good scrubbing.
2. The building has no elevator. If you have a heavy suitcase, be prepared to work.
3. The apartment still has a lot of owner’s personal items.
4. Neighborhood can get quite noisy at night.

I didn't like that it was too crowded with personal decorations. The towels were rough to the touch. The tub didn't have extension to shower. There we not iron, the stove was impossible to figure out. No set of sheets for the sofa bed or pillowcases or blankets. Hot water failed. Conclusion: it's no comfortable to spend a vacation. It's beautiful for owner to live but not to rent. However;, it was very clean and had a very convenient location. Also there is no door and the step was kind of dangerous.
The location of this apartment is excellent and right in the heart of the action. This area of the Le Marais has a very young crowd and is very crowded at night. The apartment itself is large, sunny, and very "lived in". We felt like we were staying at a friend's place rather than a vacation rental. The mornings and evenings in Paris were sometimes cool, and we hadn't packed for this cool weather. Arnaud had jackets in the closet that he was kind enough to let us use. There is room for improvement, however. The washing machine was out of order (big disappointment). The toilet seat was broken and the coffee machine was difficult to use. The lockbox outside the apartment door was mounted very high and almost unreachable. Overall though, it was a great stay.
The house is absolutely fine for four people. For a family with two kids it is simply perfect but I wouldn’t mind it even for two couples. The position is outstanding, you will go by walk almost everywhere and, when needed, Châtelet metro station is super well connected. The streets outside are full of life (unfortunately we weren’t able to go to any jazz club because we have small kids) but at night in the apartment it wasn’t noisy at all, which was surprising.
There were really no bad points. Even the beds were comfortable, which is something I always struggle with.
On the last day we were also able to use the apartment until 3pm, which was great for keeping the luggage and to use 100% of our time.
The real pity was staying just three nights. I would have stayed one month.
Thanks to Arnaud for the very quick assistance on every question. I hope to come back
The apartment is 3 flights up with unstable stairs to walk up with luggage. The place was very dirty, dusty, from top to bottom. Nothing like the description VRBO stated. The shower had mildew, with a broken shower hose. Very difficult to bathe. The owners personal belongings were all over the place, felt like we were intruding. The manager/owner was rude. We tried to relocate on our own but couldn’t find a place, plus the cost would have been outrageous. Will not recommend this place to anyone & wondering of using VRBO again.
Right in the heart of Paris - three blocks from the Seine, 15 min walk from the Louvre and with bakeries and cafes galore at your doorstep. We loved the French feel of this art-filled apt with huge windows.
It had a kitchen sink leak issue that was fixed about day 4 and there is no sink in the bathrooom. But hey, when you can stroll to the most beautiful places on the planet, these did not bother us much.
The location was perfect in that we could walk to the Seine & many historic sites as well as being in the midst of many cafes and a supermarket close by. The view out the window was of the Chatelet-Les Halles metro station. It was noisy at night with partygoers particularly on The weekend, but the apartment was fairly sound proof. The apartment itself was charming, but the taxi dropped us off many streets away and we pulled our luggage through several streets as well as up two flights of stairs. Travel light! The host provided us with a photo of the location of the lock box & answered my texts right away as we could not figure out how to open it. The host was available to us the entire time by text which was very helpful.
