Tonic hotel was in the perfect location of Saint Germain. However the room (31) was very small. The shower had no door, there was no where to hang clothes other than a tiny, grubby wardrobe that could hold about 3 coat hangers at an angle. At the weekend, the bars in the area got very busy and if felt as though closing time was 4am ( not actually sure of the time, but it was early morning).
Staff, Christian and Chantal were very helpful. We asked for a hairdryer and iron, they were delivered in minutes. There is a cave type restaurant in the basement of the hotel. We didn't eat there as the choice of cafe's on the area was amazing!
Cafe de flore, Les deux magots and Atlas in the area (walking distance) were outstanding.
The hotel is small, quirky and typical of Old France, it is full of character though.
I would suggest installing a privacy screen for the shower and installing a pole for clothes.
