"Owner was very welcoming, room was nice and clean, fresh sheets, clean towels and price was very reasonable. Breakfast was nice enough. Fresh fruit, juice, cereal, yogurts, toast, fresh tea and coffee, more than enough to choose from. Ethel was very helpful and polite. Highly recommended."

"Fantastic stay. The most central location you could have in Newport - the bus garage was right next door which took us to all the tourist locations that I would recommend - the needles, shanklin beach, carisbrook castle and the garlic farm. The guesthouse also has an excellent Thai restaurant downstairs, great food, really delicious and great price. Charterhouse is located right next to the main high street stores as well as a large Morrisons. The proprietar was really nice. The place has just started out for a year, so do book your next stay!"

"As it shows on the picture ,beautiful sea view, mesmerising every time, liads of dog walk areas, poo bins for us responsive dog walkers with poo bags, amazingly equiped holiday home, better than home? Warm, airy with high ceilings, and so much space. A hoover to keep those pesky walkd in/blown in leaves, had a great 4 days will certainly be back. "
