"Such a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. Austin & Julie are brilliant hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and definitely want to come back again. The house was the perfect size for 11 of us to stay in with a fab garden area (weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t use it to the fullest but kids were so happy to see the play area out there). "The Strand Inn was a great place to stay in Dunmore East. Sitting right on the beach, the property had a beautiful patio and dining area overlooking the water. The rooms weren’t very big but the bed was super comfortable and if you had a waterfront room than you were able to listen to the waves crash as you slept. We would definitely stay here again. "

"Wonderful space - so unique, but also very comfortable. This is an ingenious restoration that is beautifully rendered. You're only about 20-25 minutes outside Waterford by car - an easy commute and there is plenty of parking right by the river. You're not far from the coastal towns of Ireland's Ancient East, which are well worth the drive. This is a great central location and such a fun place to stay. We loved it! "

"Great hotel for my one night stay. Pleasant staff and the bar food was good. Only downside was the free parking in the Asda multi storey about 100 metres away. There is however pay and display parking opposite the hotel. Overall a good experience."
